Chapter 19 Sister’s Shadow

‘Is this poor *ss is really buying a villa?’

Subconsciously, Liz gave Tyler the up and down. She could not believe it from Noticing Tyler’s shabby outfit.

However, it was true that Tyler handed his bank card to Sherlyn and did not look like he was just putting up an act…

"A-alright, sir..."

Sherlyn was so excited that her voice shook. She reached out, took the bank card from Tyler, and felt like she was holding a heavy object.

Sherlyn could not be blamed. Selling a villa that cost more than ten million dollars was every real estate agents’ dream. The commission alone was worth more than a hundred thousand dollars.

Tyler saw Sherlyn’s excitement written all over her face and gave her a gentle smile.

"Sir, I’ll still give you the eight percent discount. I can't be keeping the money..."

Sherlyni's face flushed red as she spoke very sincerely to Tyler.

The discount was over a million dollars. It was too large of an amount for Sherlyn!

Tyler looked at her and was gratified to see such a young lady like Sherlyn these days.

"I’ve said it’s for you. Don't make me angry," said Tyler casually.

Sherlyn nodded nervously and went to pay with Tyler’s bank card.

The showroom was so silent that even the sound of a needle dropped on the floor could be heard clearly.

Those who were laughing at Tyler had zipped up their mouths.

It took more than ten seconds before someone started talking in a low voice.

"Where’s this rich man from? He doesn’t want the one million dollars discount and gives it all to Miss Turner!"

"Yeah, don’t judge a book by its cover. We were all mistaken just now."

"Husband, keep your voice down. We don’t want to offend him..."

Liz stood there like a wood-carved sculpture and felt regretful.

‘How could he possibly be a poor person? Without a net worth of billions, one could not possibly spend so much money.’

Liz felt agitated like there was an itch in her heart from seeing Sherlyn making a huge fortune. Unwilling to resign to her ill-fate, she chased after Sherlyn.

"My dear, he seems to be buying the most expensive villa for real..." Charmaine finally said something and blankly stared at Mr. Zeeyer.

Mr. Zeeyer’s face turned ugly. He was jealous but was even more shocked.

‘Damn it. Why did he pretend to be poor if he is so rich? How good’s his acting?’

"It's still too early. I won’t believe him until he pays for it."

Mr. Zeeyer was in denial and feigned indifference.

Charmaine kept quiet and dared not speak ill of Leonora anymore. If Leonora had a tycoon of a brother, she ought to befriend Leonora.

At the Finance Department, many real estate agents gathered around the counter. They could not be bothered servicing their customers as all of them wanted to see how the most expensive villa was sold.

Several female agents let out a yelp when Tyler actually completed the payment.

The showroom manager ran in when he heard the news. A bespectacled middle-aged man smiled and looked at Tyler admiringly before saying, "Mr. Zand, can I take a photo with you?"

"There’s no need for a photo. Just transfer the money discounted to Sherlyn's bank account."

Tyler simply looked at the manager.

The manager nodded quickly. "Sure, sure. I'll get someone to do it immediately!"

"Mr. Macoy, I was the one who served Mr. Zand before Sherlyn stole my customer. I should be the one keeping the discounted money!" Liz yelled at the top of her voice and almost jumped anxiously.

That was more than one million dollars!

Mr. Macoy was dumbfounded and darted his eyes back and forth between Liz and Sherlyn. "What the hell’s going on with you two? Who on earth was serving Mr. Zand first?"

Sherlyn lowered her head when she heard that and whispered, "Sister Liz was the one handling the customer first, but..."

"But what? You admitted that I was the one servicing Mr. Zand first! Manager, don’t we have this rule that we are not allowed to steal our colleagues’ customers? The money discounted should be mine!" Liz shouted like she was absolutely right.

The manager then glared at Sherlyn.

Liz had been his sugar baby for ages and slept with her countless times. He would definitely be on Liz’s side.

"Sherlyn, you are so outrageous! Don't you know that stealing a colleague's customer is a big taboo? Take it or leave it!" Mr. Macoy pointed his finger at Sherlyn and reprimanded.

Sherlyn almost cried as she felt so wronged as she sadly explained, "Sister Liz asked me to serve Mr. Zand. I didn't steal her customer."

"I just asked for your help. I didn't give you the customer. How thick-skinned are you? Freaking shameless!" Liz shouted angrily at Sherlyn with hands at her hips.

Sherlyn cried as she knew just how overbearing Liz was. On top of that, Liz had a great relationship with the manager, hence she knew she had no chance.

Tyler was appalled by the ugly drama before him.

He had seen shameless people before but none were like Liz.

Tyler seemed to see the shadow of his sister, Leonora in Sherlyn when he saw Sherlyn’s aggrieved and helpless expression.

"Miss Walter, transfer the discounted money to Liz's account along with the commission." Mr. Malcoy waved his hand and signaled to the lady from the Finance Department.

"Yes, Mr. Malcoy."

Miss Walter sympathized with Sherlyn but she did not dare to say anything. She could only shake her head.

"Hold on." Tyler interrupted Miss Walter.

He then turned to Mr. Malcoy and coldly asked, "Mr. Malcoy, do you or I have the final say?"

Mr. Malcoy was taken aback and with a friendly smile, he spoke to Tyler, "Mr. Zand, you have the final say of course."

"Well then, transfer the discounted money and commissions into Sherlyn's bank account," Tyler ordered in a deep voice.

Sherlyn instantly lifted up her head. Thrilled and tears welled up in her big beautiful eyes as she gazed thankfully at Tyler.

"Mr. Zand, that’s a lot of money. I can’t keep them."

"It's okay. You’ve worked hard to serve me, it's for your hard work." Tyler smiled gently.

A few real estate agents present almost fainted upon hearing that.

Some of them were envious, some were jealous, and some were regretful.

Had they known that Tyler was so wealthy, they would have sprinted out eagerly to serve him! It was a reward of more than one million dollars for her hard work! They would not mind sleeping with the tycoon for several months!

"Okay, Mr. Zand. Of course, you are in charge of your money. Miss Walter, transfer the money to Sherlyn quickly."

Mr. Malcoy was smiling a little awkwardly while fawning over Tyler.

There was a loud thump.

Nonetheless, he was irritated when he recalled the events and everything Liz had said and done being opposite of what she was doing now.

‘Would she be holding on to his thigh if it wasn’t for the over one million dollars of money?’

"Haha, I remembered of course. You also wanted to summon the security and chase us out of here."

Tyler scoffed, "Let go or I’ll sue you for sexual harassment."

"Mr. Zand..."

Liz helplessly let go of Tyler's thigh as if she had lost her soul. She knew that she was destined to part with that over a million dollars.

"Sir, this is your contract. Please sign."

Sherlyn assisted Tyler in preparing the purchase contract and handed the pen to Tyler with trembling hands.

She could not get any more excited.

After signing the contract, ​​Tyler left the Finance Department.

Charmaine was finally convinced the transaction was real after seeing Tyler coming out from the Finance Department with the contract in his hand. The other people that came out from the Finance Department were also passing comments about the event.

She looked blankly and completely flabbergasted at Tyler and Leonora.

"Father, Sister, this is the villa’s keys. You can move in today as it's fully-furnished."

Tyler gave the contract and keys to Fred.

Thereafter, he received a call from Ramona urging him to return home.

"I'll go first. Let Sherlyn show you to the villa later. You can ask her if you have any questions."

Tyler left the showroom after finished talking.

Charmaine had to stop herself from chasing after Tyler when he left.

If she could be with someone wealthy like Tyler, she would get whatever she wanted in life.

"You promised to buy me a house. Hurry up."

Charmaine no longer called Mr. Zeeyer ‘my dear’ and her tone was no longer as sweet as usual.

After comparing Mr. Zeeyer to Tyler, she felt that Tyler was way out of his league.

"Babe, let's talk about it in a few days. I'm in a bad mood today."

Mr. Zeeyer's face turned ashen from noticed those people in the showroom looking at him with mocking eyes. He had just called Tyler a poor *ss but the truth was a hard face slapping.

"F*ck! Again, a few days later! It has been two months and you haven't bought it! He bought a villa without hesitation for 18 million dollars. Do you need to think so hard to spend a million dollars?"

"I know that you are reluctant to buy it for me. Fine, let’s break up!"

Charmaine glared at Mr. Zeeyer with contempt.

Mr. Zeeyer was angry and annoyed. He pointed at Charmaine and bellowed, "You just wait for it!"

Then again, he knew that Charmaine would no longer be with him and walked away with gritted teeth.

Charmaine spat furiously before fixing her smile and walked towards Leonora. "Leonora, I was wrong before. Please don't take it to heart. We are classmates after all."

"Hmm." Leonora nodded slightly and wondered what Charmaine was up to.

Charmaine looked eager.

"My brother is married so stay away from him."

Leonora shook her head and went off with Fred and Sherlyn to check out the villa.

As soon as Tyler got home, he saw Ramona and Susan walking out.

Ramona was carrying a birthday cake and Susan was holding a lot of fruit.

Tyler recalled it was the birthday of Ramona’s grandfather.

Tyler had always respected Ramona's grandfather.
