Chapter 2: Revenge

Third Person POV:

Erica was now standing outside Samara mansion ‘The Paradise’, which was fully guarded form, all side. Four guards were assigned on front gates duty and two guards were assigned to guard her main door while eight guards were inside garden area also each one of them were armed with loaded guns in their hands, Samara’s mansion was far away from city and was covered with big lawn from all four sides as the only way to get in was from main door or a rooftop which was next to impossible except an alternate way which Erica was aware of.

In Past when Erica had attended a party at samara mansion she had accidently discovered this way when she was looking for a ladies room. Behind Samara’s mansion there was an old drainage pipeline which was closed few years back due some renovation which was done in interior of entire mansion, this pipeline was having It’s one end which was opening at a manhole which was just few meters away from her mansion while the another end was leading straight inside her old bathroom which was now used as Storeroom.

This closed pipeline was one and only way for Erica to get inside Samara mansion for her revenge because of which without wasting a minute more she quietly and secretly made her way towards manhole which was situated at few meter away from mansion and hurriedly crawled inside it, these pipeline were empty but dark nevertheless in less than 10 min Erica was inside Samara’s mansion from other end, she securely got out from the other end opening which was leading to store room and made her way to its door but to her misfortune it was locked from outside, Erica tried to pull and push store room door but nothing worked, sensing her efforts going in vein she turned around her attention to find something to open lock when suddenly something clicked her mind where she realised the lock style of store room door were ‘Privacy handles’, which mean it can be easily open with some flat object however to Erica’s disappointment there was no flat object in store room.

Erica was hell confused and annoyed when her eye’s fell on an old and broken tool kit which was lying in one corner, looking at which Erica got an idea and she immediately pulled out a broken handle screwdriver from it and Push it straight through lock on store room door as far as she can also she lightly started twisting it when ‘CLICK’ finally she caught a groove and the lock clicked opened with her another twist.

It was complete dark as only source of light for Erica was moonlight shining from big windows, it was almost 3.00 am the devil hour when Erica gently pushed store room door and peeked out to see for any guards or servants however to her luck no one was there also she was aware of the fact that Samara will be on second floor in her master bedroom for which she was about to make her way towards second floor when her eyes caught a sight of baseball bat which was inside one of the old box, thinking of to use it for her mission Erica grabbed it and carefully moved up to second floor, once she was standing outside Samara’s room Erica quietly opened her master bedroom door and found Samara sleeping  peacefully on her extra large bed however Erica’s hold on base ball bat tighten upon seeing Samara’s face.

Samara was sleeping in her black shorts, pink spaghetti top and opened hairs also her fair complexion was glowing bright in moon light, she was looking nothing less than a sleeping beauty but her image that was running in Erica mind of was nothing less than of a dreadful WITCH, Erica was taking slow step towards sleeping Samara just like an hunter walking towards its prey while all memories of earlier day kept on repeating in her mind like flashback of some horror movie, finally after long wait when Erica reached near Samara’s bed she tilted her head down and started at samara’s calm and peacefully sleeping face when right that moment everything that doctor informed her which had happened to Mike started ringing her mind and Erica’s felt her blood boiling in anger, her eyes turned RED and she got reckless as her brother broken face kept flashing in front of her eyes, also Just like that in heat of the moment Erica grabbed that opportunity and gave a hard hit on samara right leg with baseball bat with all her force making samara

woke up screaming in pain but before her scream could eco in entire mansion Erica pulled Samara’s comforter on her face and ruthlessly stuck a big portion of it inside her mouth, Samara tried to push her away but Erica again hit her hard on her arm making her wince in pain, Erica’s impact was sudden and brutal which made Samara cry out loud however Erica showed no mercy on her.

Erica senseless kept hitting samara many more time on hand, legs, stomach and head, She was behaving like some possessed women who was determined to breaks Samara’s every single bone meanwhile Samara’s once pure white colour bed had now turned into deeper shade of RED because of all blood that was flowing out from her wounds, after couple of minutes Erica somehow managed to stop herself as she turned her gazed to look at Samara who was now lying like a lifeless body on her bed covered in pool of her own blood, her body was totally wounded while her eyes were fixed on Erica, Samara was trying to say something but was unable to utter even a single word due to unbearable pain that Erica had gifted her, Samara was injured however her face was still showing hint of rage and arrogance because of which Erica gave her one deep rage filled stare as quickly picked up near by phone and called Fire fighter along with an ambulance meanwhile Samara was watching her every move but was unable to say understand her action “You Fucking Whore.... I know you purposely tricked Mike for your fucking ego... but now just see how I’ll shatter and burn your little ego with you right here in this mansion” saying that Erica walked out of Samara’s bedroom.

Once out of Samara’s bedroom Erica walked down and made her way towards kitchen where she pulled out all gas pipes and like she predicted within just couple of minutes entire mansion got filled with methane gas, taking that as her prospect to leave Erica took a lighter from kitchen counter and went back to same store room which she had earlier used to enter Samara’s mansion, Erica lilted a cardboard box nearby in store room and crawled her way out through same underground closed pipeline. Also within less than a minute there was a huge blast in entire Kitchen, which alerted every guards that was on duty, even Erica heard sound of blast when she was running inside pipeline towards manhole opening.

Once Erica safely came out of manhole opening she saw a massive fire which was aggressively burning down entire Mansion in front of her eyes however there was no expression on her face, fire flames burning around mansion were reflecting mirror image of fire that was burning in inside her heart. after 20 more minutes Erica saw an ambulance and four fire fighter van parking in front ‘The Paradise’ also several fire fighter getting down and running towards mansion seeing which Erica turned her back and start walking away.

Erica came back to her apartment and packed few of her and Mike clothing’s along with some essentials thing and immediately left for hospital where she cleared Mike’s hospital bills and helped him to get dress and leave with her, also before leaving she informed Sonia that they were leaving country, hearing which Sonia too decided to leave with them as she was also an orphan just like them. Erica first hesitated with Sonia’s decision however later agreed and allowed Sonia to tag along them and they all left for airport.

On New York International airport Erica booked three air ticket and managed to get them all on first flight to England, also once they all landed in England Erica got them all checked in a nearby hotel where they stayed for a day while in mean time she made an arrangement for them all to stay far away in a small dark residential area for complete 2 month where she also made arrangement for Mike to secretly take his physical treatment in one of local hospital.

Two month later Erica booked a cab to help them cross England border and travel to settle in Australia, also in past two month lot’s had changed, Samara’s mansion ‘THE PARADICE’ which used to stand tall in all its glory on mountain hill of New York was now nothing less than a ‘HUNTED HOUSE’, its once white and royal golden colour had turned into pitch black because of fire that was set by Erica, Samara was safe but brutally injured she was not much harmed by fire but the beating she received from Erica was sufficient to keep her hospitalised where she was going through severe medical treatment, moreover every single bodyguards from the day of Samara’s incident were shot dead by some gang attack, Singh family was one of the reputed and billionaire family of New York and had many business rivals because of which the fire which was set by Erica was also considered as a rival attack also even after two month it was trending as the hottest news of New York. Meanwhile Erica eyes were fixed on TV of departmental store while she was in waiting in queue as they had halted their cab for a refreshment Samara’s father Mr.Vikram Singh interview was streaming live “The one who are responsible for my daughter condition should be scared because, If they are found by me ....they all will curse the day they were born” Vikram Singh said in his stern voice where hunger for revenge was clearly visible in his eyes.

11 Months later:

Sonia was busy arranging paper napkin on order counter also she was little tensed then usual day meanwhile Erica herself was busy collecting empty plates from nearby table when “Babe is everything fine with you?” Erica questioned Sonia stopping in-between her track while holding tray of dirty dishes in her hand “Yeah...Ya i am fine, why what happened?” Sonia questioned Erica with amused expression “Nothing I asked you about your opinion on our movie plan tonight you, me and Mikey, I even questioned you about what movie you want to see but....... you was totally lost!” Erica replied with concern look in her eyes “Is everything really fine with you?” Erica added “Yes.. Eri everything’s fine.. am just trying to focus Onnn....thes..these.. stupid napkins, am figuring out on how to arrange these napkins..” Sonia replied in her timid voice “Oh... KK... then, I was thinking we can go to Sally’s pizza for dinner after movie, what say?” Erica questioned Sonia with smile “Sounds good to me” Sonia replied with plain expression “Good... then let’s get this work done quickly so that we can leave early” Erica replied with a wink and headed towards kitchen while Sonia simple nodded with a weak smile, It’s been 8 month now since Erica and Sonia started working in ‘Meadow cafe’ which was not so far from their small rented apartment.

Around at 4.00 pm manager of ‘Meadow cafe’ and head of Erica and Sonia walked in with worried face “Sonia I need you to make a quick run to deliver 70 packages of ‘Vegan Meal Box’ to phantom studio on west hill NOW...!” manager standing straight in front of Sonia near order counter in his superior voice “NOW...?, PHANTOM STUDIO...? it will take me at least an hour to deliver this thing there also my shift will end in 5 more minutes” Sonia quickly replied watching her wrist watch “I Know that Sonia, but it’s one of our big order, and we cannot afford to miss it... Now hurry” Manager said meanwhile Erica was keenly watching whole situation from one corner when “I’ll do it” Erica said hopping in their conversation as she saw how tired Sonia was with this whole situation “I can cover for her....” Erica added with smile “You sure you can do this Erica?” manager asked her “Yeah... No problem I can do that” Erica replied and turned to face Sonia “Babe, I’ll meet you and Mikey at theatre okay....” Erica replied “Okay...” Sonia said.

Twenty minutes later manager quickly collected all packages and loaded them in Erica’s Scooty box meanwhile Erica put on her helmet and made her way to phantom studio. It was around 6.00 pm when Erica headed back after delivering her last order for the day, she came back to ‘Meadows cafe’ for dropping her Scooty key’s with manager however from distance she saw few expensive black car which were neatly parked outside their cafe along with some bodyguards dressed in entire black attire, Sensing some trouble Erica hastily parked her Scooty and headed inside cafe ignoring all bodyguards only to find it completely empty except one customer who had occupied a table which was situated in middle of entire cafe while he was sitting with his back facing towards Erica.

This person was around 6 feet tall and extremely muscular, one can tell that he was doing tremendous workout just by looking at all his perfect V shaped back which was proudly poking out all his muscle through his white shirt while his expensive looking blazer was neatly placed on table in front of him as he was busy sipping freshly brewed coffee, the bitter aroma of his fresh coffee had heavily lingered in air.

In Mean time Erica didn’t realised that she was busy staring at him until he kept his cup down and stood up straight in his place. Like a instinct Erica flinched a bit when she was him turning to face her, also breath got hitched and her word went dead in her throat the Instant she recognised the person who was now Standing in front of her with nothing but cold expression.

Within just few second Erica’s entire forehead got covered with sweat beads while layer after layers of sweat streams started flowing down from inside of her ‘Meadows cafe’ T-shirt, her heartbeat got accelerated while her mind gave up on her ability to think, Erica kept her eyes focused on Devil who was standing in front of her in human skin in mean time he kept taking his slow yet steady steps towards Erica and simultaneous started curling up sleeves of his white shirt.

In just less than 20 sec he was standing in front of Erica merely at distance of one foot away also all this time his dark brown eyes were deeply pierced into her black ones, Erica was able to feel his hot breath on her face when “Samrat...” was the only word that left her mouth before she found herself lying on floor due to strong forced which was landed on her left cheek, the impact of Samrat slap on her cheek was so strong that it successfully brought her out of her trance in the interim Samrat kept his gazed fixed on Erica who was now bleeding from her lips.

Couple of Second later when Samrat saw Erica’s was putting her efforts to stand up in front of him he again used his force and kicked her twice in stomach “AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH............................” a loud scream escaped Erica’s mouth as she fell flat on her stomach while Samrat kept staring at her with nothing but murderous look in his eyes.

Erica winced in pain and curled up in ball right on floor as tears started rolling down from her eyes also from corner of her right eye she saw few blood stains on floor and realised that her lips were now torn because of Devil who was standing tall, however before she could have any more thought on her miserable self Samrat harshly grabbed a big chunk of her silky black hairs from behind and pulled her up only to throw her on nearby glass frame, ‘CRACKKKKKKKKK.........’ Glass frame broke into several pieces, few of broken pieces even pierced Erica’s caramel smooth skin of face and neck.

After this impact Erica was left with no more strength to get up because of which she lied down on floor completely covered in her own blood and broken pieces, her body was totally drained out and brutally injured. Erica was on verge of fainting when Samrat roughly pulled her up by her left arm and mercilessly start dragging her out of cafe, Erica was not able to maintain her balance and kept tripping due to all the beating that she had received from Samrat however Samrat on other hand completely ignored her situation and brutally pulled her out of cafe and roughly pushed kicked her on back seat of his car also he himself got beside her and order his driver to head back. Erica somehow managed to straighten her aching body and gently lay her head on Samrat car window.
