Chapter 4: The night continues

Its been a few hours now since everything happen and it felt like a lot happen too. I seriously have a lot of questions to ask but for now I'm gonna just sit here and look at my family blank faces. Haha this is too funny. I told them the current situation but they had to give me these expression especially my dad. I probably won't forget that face forever. Never.

Dad: I can't really believe what I am hearing right now but somehow it felt weirder if we didn't believe it. My son would never have brought home a beautiful girl in the middle of the night. This boy got no romance skills after all.

Whole family: Hmm I agree

That hurts me more than I expected. The fact that you all chose that reason to trust me.

Dad: So what are you gonna do next? I'm seriously lost right now. I have no clue whatsoever, what to say or ask?

''Hmm Kiri you said something about spirit something. What did you mean by that?''

Kiri: Spiritual Presence . In other words the strength of your soul or spirit or maybe your aura, I don't really know how to explain it too but I can feel it and see it. Most demons do. And how it influence you and your surroundings. And why are you asking me that? With that level of spiritual energy you should have notice all the weird things around you that normal humans cannot perceive.

''I don't get it. What do you mean weird things around me? Something supernatural??''

Kiri: I thought something was weird. Well let me see if I can show you it will be faster.

She stood up and stand near the window and told me to look at the man on the street and ask me if I can see him.

''Of course I can see him he is not even that far.''

Dad: Where is that man?

Sis: Yea which dude are you two talking about?

Mom: There should not be anyone out there. Its 3 am you know.

Kiri: Don't you get it? The only ones who can see him are you and me.

''What do you mean by that?''

Kiri: Its not that you did not notice the weird thing around you? Your spritual energy was strong enough that your eyes could no longer even distinguish between a human and a Ghost.

(I was speechless..... maybe because no one close to me have ever died that might be the reason why I have never met 'dead people' and even if I did I would only perceive them as strangers in their everyday life. If I were to see my dead father in the street maybe I would have come to question myself.)

Kiri: Well I think that ghost avoid you too anyway.

''Why is that?''

Kiri: Someone with high spiritual energy would only come out of a demon or an exorcist.

'' Exorcist?!... You mean those cool demon slaying psychos actually exist. Wow....''

At this point Kiri seem to have already given up trying to resist answering me

Kiri: Yup, they exist. Its because of their existence I chose this family located out of the exorcist faction and only a few demons could chose their area to pass the final test.

''Hoho..in other words you are not a normal demon..you did say something about being the daughter of a noble demon.''

Kiri: For someone who seem stupid you actually remember that. Well I guess so but how am I going to return after a total failure like this one.

''Return? You mean you could go back to wherever you came from?...Hmmm hihi.. If that is so mind taking me with you?''

Kiri: Huh why would I do something like th--?

Hmmm??

Dad: Hoi what do you think your saying? Going where?

Kiri said a few words I could not understand and my family was back to being unconscious. I totally forgot they were in the room too.

''Kiri, what do you think your doing?''

Kiri: Dont worry about it I only cast a sleeping spell, they will wake up soon. Anyway human what do you think of going to the demon world with me?
