CHAPTER 8

                                                    KNOWING MORE ABOUT HER

MASTER JAVEN MEDREX:

          Every night I saw the little woman at the pool.   I watched her immensely in her innocent actions below my balcony.   Sometimes, she seated on the bench in the garden writing on a piece of paper or notebook.   At times she seems to be dancing.   She love splashing water with her foot in the swimming pool.   I watched her well fearing she might fell into the water as I do not know if she knew how to swim.

          It became something I do at every night before I go to sleep.   Sometimes, she came too late at night, staying too late outside was not good as nobody would be looking after her anymore if I go to sleep, so, I have to shout at her down the poolside below to go to sleep.   She would looked  up and then hurry up to go back to sleep.   I thought sometimes she get annoyed because she turned back to see me and stick her tongue out.   I was really laughing at  that her action, she was a cute innocent girl.   One time she ignored me that I have to go downstairs to show I am not joking.

          "If you will not go sleep, I'll go down and beat you," I said scaring her but she did not moved at all.   I repeated my words, "Jade go to sleep, I'm coming down now."  she did not dare to looked up and did not moved, so I went downstairs.

          I slide opened the glass door and she still did not moved sitting at the pool edge with her legs still in the water.  "Damn it! this girl won't listened to me I'll teach her a lesson."

         When I was almost near her, she suddenly got up fast and about to run but I was able to catched a grip on her wrist and spun her into my embrace and slap her butt a little too harder.   She was stunned, quiet and bowed her head.

          "Are you not gonna listened to me?   When I said go to sleep, GO SLEEP!   do you understand?" I said sternly as I was a little annoyed with how she ignored me.

          "Yes, Master," she said with her head down.   I gripped her chain up for her to looked at me, her tears were starting to come out from her tear glands.   

          "From now on, no more going out for you at night.  Stay in your room and sleep at night or else I'll punished you, I'll slap harder your butt, did you understand?"  it was a stern tone but softly.  She answered nodding her head.

          "Now go to sleep and never go out at night," I said as I released her from my arms.

          The next day I came downstairs and instructed Russo to call on Mrs. Adel.  I want to talked to her about Jade's matter of sneaking out every night, staying too late at the pool as it was not safe for her and might catched cold being out in the cold night.

          "Mrs Adel, do you know that Jade every night was out at the garden and in the pool so late at night?" I said with concern.

          "Oh God!  Forgive me Master. I don't know that she was.  She probably can not sleep because she slept during the day, so she sneak out when I'm already asleep.   I'm so sorry master.   It won't happened again, I will locked well the door at night," she apologized.

          "It is not that she is not safe inside but the thing is, she might fell in the pool and no one around.   Every night I watched on her and have to shout down to her to make her go to sleep but last night she did not listened, she ignored me.   I don't want being ignored so I came down and taught her a lesson, I punished her." informing her what I did to for her to learn.

          "Yes master.   You can punish her if she needed to learned a lesson.  I'm sorry master."  she bowed her head apologitically.

          "You need to change her sleeping time immediately.   Do not let her sleep at daytime, give her something to do.   Let her be outside to play or talk to everyone here, that way it would made her learn more words and insights from others." I said suggestively.

          "Yes master," she aswered and nodding at same time in agreement to me.

          "Does she know how to swim?  What grade had she stopped before the accident," I asked.

          "She used to be a good swimmer, master, but I do not know now, because her memories is of a little girl.   She had graduated in high school, master." she said.

          "Hmm, okay, I'll see what I can do to help her during weekends when I'm not busy.   Russo can you have someone to take charge to look after Jade when she is around exploring."

          "Thank you master," Mrs. Adel said.

          "Yes young master," Russo answered.

          I asked Russo to call all the servants and guards except Mrs. adel and I have something to tell them.   The servants were all came lining up infront of him.

          "Alright, I want you all to be aware and look after Jade, Mrs. Adel's daughter whenever she is out or in around the mansion.  It was probably known to all of you Mrs.Adel's daughter situation.   Treat her well like a delicate small kid.   I expect every one to do that, she is all of you's responsibilities," it was an instruction as well as command to all.

          I went to the company with light feeling, a sense of happiness for doing good things for others, especially for innocent Jade.   I became busy in the next eight hours, no chance almost to think about other things except about the little woman's sake when my mind was free from office things.

          Thinking about the little woman, searched the internet about medical information of her case.   I thought of helping her get well, made some plans how to do it, like home therapies.   I also searched some neurologist, specialized in her case.  Neuroscience doctors who were abroad, I also contacted some well-known to get information to fully understand Jade's case.   I found some but I need to bring Jade abroad.   It is not easy to do this as she has her mother as the one responsible for her. 

          "WHAT IF I WOULD ADOPT HER? WHAT THE FUC*K WHAT WOULD SHE BECOME TO ME, MY DAUGHTER???! NO WAY! I can not be a father for her, we only have like a six or seven years age gap.   I am not old for her to my daughter.   A WIFE COULD BE.." oh goodness what am I thinking! Looks like I'm getting insane with this ghost girl!
