Miles went to his office carrying her and placed her on a chair.

He looked at Mia and asked "Why are you here? Do you need anything, if you need anything why you didn't just call me? I would appear in front of you right away." He made his voice as soft as he could. He didn't want to make her cry again.

This time Mia was not angry at his question. She raised her head and looked at him lovingly. Her such a loving look stunned him.

In the past, she always looked at him angrily or with hate but today she was looking at him happily and with so much love in her eyes. This was making him confused the most. Just two days ago, she wanted to beat him but now she waa very dedicated towards him.

He took two steps back and distanced himself from her a little. She smiled awkwardly this time because she knew why he was behaving like this.

'Mia eat your self dignity. Are you going to make a palace with your dignity? If you can't get his love, when you are with him, you don't need your self dignity anymore.' Mia told herself and took a deep breath.

“Baby, my foot hurts so much." Her tears started to fall.

Miles was so shocked that he nearly vomited blood. It looked like his eyeballs would pop out of their sockets. 'What happened to her head today? Why is she behaving so strange, no not just strange but out of the world.' He didn't have the guts to say that loudly.

He calmed himself and said to her "You can't lie to me, your legs are perfectly fine.”

Mia understood, he already knew her lie.

“Yeah baby, you're a genius doctor.” She smiled at him proudly. Her Miles was a magical doctor, she felt proud of him.

Miles understood, she is here for fun, so he did not bother to pay her attention and sat on his chair. He focused on his work and let her be as she is. Mia looked at his face, she felt that her Miles looked so attractive when he was working. She came near him and stood next to him, yet he treated her like air. She got an idea, and directly sat on his lap without any warning.

Miles felt like the whole world went blank for a second. His whole body stiffen and he glares at Mia 'Is she trying to kill me like this?'

“What are you doing?” He gritted his teeth and asked.

He pushed her from his lap softly but she tightly hugged his neck and he left speechless. He wanted to cry but lacked tears. She knew his thoughts very clearly.

"I'm hungry.” She said pitifully.

His eyes softened immediately and asked her “You didn't have breakfast?"

“I really wanted to see you. I told my mom and dad that I'll have my breakfast here." Her bright eyes stared at him.

Miles felt happy but he didn't show it on his face and calmly asked “Okay, what do you want to eat?"

“Anything, I'm not a picky eater.” She shamelessly said.

Actually, the real fact was that she was very picky about food. Miles knew it very well but he didn't have the guts to say that, so he sealed his mouth.

“Okay then, you sit here and don't go anywhere until I come back.” He said and wanted to get up, but she was still sitting on his lap.

“Can you please get up?” He literally requested her.

Mia rolled her eyes and got up from his lap. Miles stood up and walked out from his office. When he closed the office door, Mia sighed in relief, she was blushing like a red tomato. Even, she herself was also shocked of her own sudden courage and boldness. She was also happy and started to jump out of happiness and scream loudly how happy she was.

She said out loudly "From today onwards, I'm going to make my Miles happy everyday."

Outside the office, Miles heard her scream and her words. Although this Mia shocked him so much but he likes her more like this. He also wanted to jump out of happiness. How could he not be happy, from childhood to now he wanted to make her his bride.

He clearly remembered the day of their first meet and those special moments. When she was born, she was so tiny. When he first saw her, she was only 5 days old. When he wanted to hold her little hand, she suddenly caught his finger tightly in her tiny fist and refused to let go. When he removed his finger from her fist, she started to cry so hardly. When he let her catch his finger again, she smiled cutely at him. Since then, with his finger, his heart was also stuck on her.

Their parents fixed their childhood marriage. She always followed him wherever he went. When she started to talk, she called him Mile as she couldn't correctly utter his name. He liked whatever she called him.

She always hated it if any other girl touched him. She stopped talking with him. So he always stayed away from any other girl, especially Sophia, if Sophia ever smiled at him, Mia would always bite on his neck in anger.

He loved everything she liked and hated everything she disliked. Although he was 6 years older than her, she always controlled him, she was his queen.

Everything changed when he went abroad for his medical study. She was angry with him for leaving her here. He thought she would be okay after sometime. He also knew that he will come back to her after completing his studies but who thought when he would return after 5 years he would only get hate from her. He was hurt because of this. He cursed himself for leaving her for 5 long years and regretted that.

He thought he had lost her that's why he wanted to marry her even if she hated him. He wanted to tie her with him. He thought maybe one day his little Mia will come back to him. He did everything she said. She wanted a hidden marriage, he agreed. She wanted a simple wedding, he agreed but still her hatred didn't fade even a little bit.

Just two days ago, when he asked her where she wanted to live after their marriage, she became so angry that she wanted to beat him up. After that he started to lose his hope. He thought that he already lost her and couldn't get her back. Today, suddenly his lost hope came back to him. Only god knew how happy he was at that moment.
