Chapter 7

Ylisha's POV

  I woke up as the sunlight hits my eyes, "it's already morning," I muttered while trimming my eyes and tried to stand up to put down the window curtain when my sheet seems so massive and I was astonished to see Clench sitting asleep right beside me, "Oh my, you startled me" I murmured. I'm about to wake him up when I saw the pail on the floor beside him that made my cheeks burning up. Glimpsing at that pail let me recalled what went on last night, "Ylisha, you shouldn't drunk, this is embarrassing, " I mumbled and hurriedly stand up to tidy up my mess and be sure not to make Clench disturbed.

 After cleaning, Clench is still snoozing, I pulled the blanket and draped him,

"Stupid, how can you sleep comfortably while sitting, " I whispered and left him for a while, I was planning to cook some sustenance for him to thanks him for last night, so, I went immediately here in the kitchen when his mom suddenly came off,

 "Good morning dear, what are you going to do?" She asked wearing a lovely smile in her face, I'm sheepish.

She's Clench's mother I should be used to this, because I know I'll always bump into her in the future since I'm Clench's best buddy.

I smiled back and put down the plate I'm holding and bow down.

"Good morning Aunt, I am planning to cook some food for Clench for taking care of me last night, did you eat breakfast already Aunt? I can also make you some," I said enthusiastic and Clench's mother just giggle.

  "How sweet of you, I thought Clench slept on the on his room last night," she said and giggled again that made me blush, I think she got the wrong idea.

 "You got the wrong idea Aunt, he can't just leave me because I was throwing up a lot last night and he fell asleep sitting beside the bed," I responded promptly and tried to look and act naturally in front of her

"You're so cute, by the way, no need to make breakfast for us, we're about to leave, Clench's dad is waiting outside, I have to go, tell Clench that we're going to visit him next time again, inform him also that we're sorry for fleeing too early, thank you, my dear, bye," She said cheerfully and walk straight away to the exit.

 "That's awkward!" I mumbled feeling embarrassed.

 After cooking, I already set up the table,“ Chip-Chop, it's all done,” I giggled with excitement. I went back to the room and found Clench still asleep. Then my eyes rolled into the mirror near me,

"Oh my! You look like trash Ylisha," I mumbled and hurriedly went to the comfort room to rinsed my face and went back to the front of the mirror grabbing the comb next to it. I'm amazed by how his things are perfectly arranged. I sat in front of the mirror and gently comb my hair.

CLENCH's POV

  I woke up and found myself around my sheet, so, I stretch my arms and as I look behind me, I saw Ylisha combing her hair up and down.

"I guessed she didn't notice that I'm already awake," I muttered, and while my eyes follow her arms as she combed her hair up and down.

She's cute. I'm kinda falling deeper. I quietly stand up grinning.

"Good morning, how is your night after throwing up like crazy last night," I said teasing her and she looks at the mirror and saw me at her back,

"You startled me," she growled with surprise and put down the comb and looked back to look at me.

"About that, I'm sorry, and thank you," she said while scraping her head like a kid. I chuckled as I tapped her head.

"It's okay, I'm fine as long it was for you, You shouldn't drunk that much if you only knew what you looked like last night," I said laughing at her, but my heart race when I notice her blushing.

"What is this?" I mumbled, then she grabbed my hand above his head.

"Oh, stop teasing me, it's annoying," she yelled. And I just laugh at her while my heart fluttered.

"Hey, stop laughing, I'm serious, " she yelled again, glaring at me. Damn, my heart skipped a bit, she's still cute in that way. So, I turned my back at her and slap my face burning cheeks.

"Okay, I'll stop, let just go downstairs, I'll make breakfast for us," I said and tried to left the room promptly.

 "It's okay, I've already cooked some food for us," she replied grinning with excitement.

My eyes went all wide with amusement, "Really, I never believed that," I said.

" Oh come on Clench, I'm serious, it's a thank you gift for last night, by the way, your parents left early, they said sorry for leaving early," she replied.

"Oh, that's okay, they're really busy with business," I said and scraped my head. Well, I'm used to it. I'm not expecting them to remain here either, I understand that my stepmom and dad are really busy as before, that what rich parents mostly do, I guess so, anyway it's for me, that's why I always visited my real mom in the cafe back in my high school if I have time, my real mom lives a normal life but she's contented, my father still gave her gifts sometimes, well they don't dislike each other, but I wonder why they broke up. But my mom always saying.

"Well, we are not meant for each other that's life its a long story, most importantly we accept that positively"

And that's made me proud of my real mom.

YLISHA's POV

 I'm here in front of Clench eating but I can't eat comfortably, I hate him, he keeps on teasing me about what happened last night. Oh my, I regret it already, huhuhuhu, this is embarrassing plus my heart keeps pounding in my ears as he laughs in front of me.

I tightly hold my spoon and glared at him, "Shut up pls!"

"Okay you won, I'll stop," he finally said.

"By the way, your birthday will be on Sunday, what are you planning to do? He asked,

I put my fingers on my chin and looked up and stared at him again, " Hmmm, I can't throw a party like you, my dad hates it, " I frowned, then he suddenly patted my head as his face went near my face, "thug!thug!thug! I freeze up, my heart fluttered.

" it's okay, I understand, anyway we can still celebrate without throwing a party," he winked at me as I secretly clenching my fist on my knees. “Ylisha, make your heart stop!” I whispered in my head.

 "Your eyes are really pretty," he whispered but I couldn't understand what he just said. "What?" I asked and he said "nothing" and continued eating.

" Clench, am I falling?" I asked myself while staring at him eating as he eats his food. Then, my heart prickled into goosebumps when I heard my phone ringing so loud. I snatched my phone from my pocket checked who's calling and it was my dad, and of course, I know it's about our secret job. “Clench, I have to go, you know my father is strict,” I said, but of course that was a lie. “Okay, want me to walk you home?” he offered but I insisted. He must not know our place. Haist, I sigh.

I wanted to stay with Clench but I couldn't. It's because, as the assassin, I needed to finished everything. How I wish it's easy to tell him everything, that I don't have to lie at him several times.

I ended up fighting from here to there with this sword in my hand, blood splashes everywhere around me as we accomplished the mission. Then I left while the others clean the mess.

I went inside Mr.A's car, waiting for them to finish the cleaning, then I saw my reflection at my sword as I put its cover, my eyes narrowed as I examined my bloody face. So, this is the other side of me that no one knows about even my best friend Clench. I sigh and just closed my eyes as I leaned my back at my chair.
