Chapter 11

 Ylisha's Pov

  I hastily went to school after reading the text messages from Clench, I've even seen his missed calls, it almost a hundred missed calls, I think I really made him worried yesterday.

 I went here in his room but it's disappointing, he isn't here yet.

I guess I really too early, I just can't wait to see him. We really have to talk. So, I just texted him.

“Hey, good morning, I'm very sorry for not getting in touch with you, last night.

I've only seen your missed calls recently, I'm right here at school now.

I miss you, let's talk later.

Send me a message immediately, if you read this.

I love you ”

I'm strolling here at school when Neil poke me from the back, “Hey, Ylisha? I keep calling your name, I'm right behind you, you're not listening, isn't it?"

 " Awww! You startled me, " I mumbled then he looked at me and with an open hand, then smacked his head,

“ Oh no Ylisha, when did you become deaf?” He said then got surprised as he went in front of me.

He touched my forehead, “you look so pale, but you're not hot, do you have a problem? What are you doing to yourself?"

I look at him, he's too serious and he looks like he is mad at me or what? He's acting like my boyfriend.

"Oh, I'm okay, it's nothing," I answered in a weak voice.

"Really, you sure? 'Cause you look like your not, "

" Hmmm-" I don't have the chance to continue what I'm mumbling when he suddenly grabbed my hand.

"Where are we going? Let go of my hand," I said but he just winked at me.

"Class starts after 1 hour, let's refresh your mind first, you don't feel okay right?" He said and I couldn't say anything, I have no choice since he already pulled my hand.

 Neil's POV

We are finally here at the back of the school, there are too many trees and flowers around,

" Wow, I never thought there's a place like this here!"

What she saw amazed her, and her eyes water, she felt relief and happiness.

"It's like a secret garden isn't it?" I said.

"Well yeah, it's wonderful."

Then I saw a bike in the corner.

"Looks someone left a bike here, wanna borrow? Let's try," I said but she only smiled forcibly, so, I went near her.

"What's the problem?" I asked her then her smile turns into darkness.

And then I saw her inspecting her phone like she's waiting for a call or something.

"Well, I want to take a break for a minute."

"Hah?" I said curiously and she lay down on the ground.

"I wanna sleep a bit, tell me when the class will about to start," then she closed her eyes, I can't say a word since she looks sad. I felt deserted.

10 minutes later

"Hey, Ylisha, if you have a problem, you can always tell me," I said but she didn't answer.

"Ey? She fell asleep so fast, "

I only watch her sleeping, she's pretty.

“Ylisha, you're always pretty in my eyes,” I whispered, but I'm worried about what happened to her.

 She's quietly sleeping, so I lay beside her.

I wanted to touch her face but I stopped and just stared at her pretty face.

 "Hey, Ylisha, I have a secret, I'm an Idiot before, I wish I could turn back time back from where I first saw you.

You were too scary when we're in our elementary days, I'm too dumb for not approaching you back there, and it's sad that you didn't remember me."

Hi, I'm Neil, I actually fell in love with Ylisha since elementary.

I fell in love with how strong she was.

 I always wanted to talk to her but I'm afraid that the others will molest me too.

I only watch her from afar.

And that's the dumbest thing I did, I've already regretted it right now, knowing she's dating someone else, but still, I'm happy to meet her again. Though, she can't remember me as her old schoolmate.

I'm so happy when I found out that we entered the same school.

When I saw her again, I felt the butterflies in my stomach which I felt the day I first saw her. It's always the same as ever. Hehe, funny isn't it?

But I know I'm still in love with her. And I'm happy watching her like this, I wonder if she's still strong as before. Hehe, I couldn't help myself but smile, she was really extraordinary at those time.

"She's cute."

“I love you,” I whispered.

Ylisha's POVS

 Plap! Plap! Plap!

Raindrops wake me up as it went to my face.

"Hey, are you okay let's go back to school, it is raining," Neil said.

 I stood up but I accidentally slipped and I felt Neil's grabbed me on my waist, but we both slipped and I am on top of him.

I'm shocked by what just happened, I'm about to stand up but he pulled me closer as my body pressed against him.

“What, are you doing?” I muttered.

“Ylisha, I like you, ” he said bluntly. The time stopped, what is he saying?

I freeze up then I heard a sound like something fell down from somewhere, then I was shocked to see Clench. His umbrella was on the ground.

The rain is soaking him to the bones and making him shudder, I instantly stood up and made my feet move, heading towards him.

"Clench, it was -" I paused when he turns his back at me and rolled his eyes madly. It was my first time seeing him act like that.

"Clench," I shouted and run after him.

But he never looks back at me. Then I felt waterfalls to my eyes as it synchronized with the rain.

Clench's POVs

I went early to Ylisha's room but she's still not there.

I checked my phone but there's no text messages nor calls from her.

I wonder if she will come here to school.

Her phone keeps ringing as I dialed her number but she's not answering.

I waited near the school entrance, then I saw Sandara walking towards me.

"Hey, you're looking for Ylisha? I saw them earlier went at the back of the school, "

"Them?" I mumbled, and suddenly, the rain arrives.

"My gosh, did she bring an umbrella with her?"

“Sandara do you have an umbrella?” I yelled.

“Yeah, why?”

“Can I borrow it for a minute?”

“Yeah, sure, ” she responded and held me her umbrella.

I ran fast as I could at the back of the school when I saw Ylisha with that guy again.

And it hurts me seeing her on top of him.

"She slipped I guess," I don't wanna overreact, it's no big deal but I feel really mad knowing she's with him.

I keep calling her a while ago but she didn't even pick her phone, and I will end up seeing her with this guy.

I'm about to walk near them but this guy pulled Ylisha.

“Ylisha, I like you, ” he said.

My heart is sinking. I can't believe what's in front of me, then my hand loosens up and the umbrella instantly fell on the ground.

They were both surprised to see me.

“Clench, it was-”

My eyes look sharply on Ylisha, and I didn't hesitate to step away as I picked up Sandara's umbrella.

"Clench," I heard Ylisha's voice, shouting behind me, but I ignored it and keep leaving.

 I felt like she betrayed me.

She didn't update me knowing I'm madly worried since yesterday, actually until now, and she's seeing this guy before me?

 Tears raced down on my cheeks as I walk step by step.

 I felt like something opened up inside me.

"Ylisha, why?"
