City of Elmont

Sounds of thunderstorms and Lightening are heard in a silent and mischievous city. The city of Elmont. A land with a known record of evil and torture.

A place no one wants to live in all alone. Its silence speaks to its neighboring towns how malicious and impairment it is. 

Millions of people who lived there had left it all by it is self. It receives no strangers for the land that has been stained with blood.

It is beauty was darkened by a tragedy that happened years ago when a young innocent teenager was killed by some friends because of jealousy.

*Flashback*

Music echoed all through an end of year high school party.

While the youths had fun and played all kinds of the game inside the main party hall, Emma a young beautiful girl was silent in her own angle watching everyone having fun.

A guy named Jamal Crawford, the richest kid in their school, who has a broad knowledge of every field.

He is known for his talents in soccer, sharpness in school, his beauty as a huge handsome light brown eyes guy, who has a very well carved square face that when he smirks, all dead things around are brought to life.

He was charming and very social with everyone. No discrimination. He has chestnut brown hair which was silky but always nasty. Though he often tries combing it with his hands, the fall back on his forehead. Giving him a very sexy and unique appearance. 

His teeth were without stain. Pure as snow. When his friends always ask him what his secret is, he says "A positive mindset is what makes me beautiful. Not my parent's wealth, nor my grades or the number of girls I go out with"

He had worn many games and carried along with all sorts of medals.

He has broken records of dating. He started with two girls and they loved it. After a while, he moved on with two more.

Now, he has eight girlfriends and they all respect each other and know their rules with him.

He knows how to manage them perfectly well, and did not intend to add to the number of girls he has until the day he met Emma.

It has been a week now that he keeps being around her.

He loves her company and hence, does not create time for his girlfriends.

Due to that, Emma got a warning from them to stay away from him. But all those treats went in vain and coursed them more pain as Jamal decided to break up with all of them.

And not only that, but he announced to his friends how madly in love he is with Emma.

When those girls got the news and realized he broke up with them because of Emma, they planned to deal with her.

So this fateful party day, Jamal keeps being around her except for now...when he lives her to go collect drinks.

One of the girls called for Emma giving her an excuse Jamal wants to see her.

She doubted but later followed her to where Jamal is, only for her to find out she has gone far from the party house.

"Uhm..did he tells you why he wants to see somewhere so far from the party house? It's really dark and cold out here" Emma asked robbing her arms and looking around the vast land.

Yet, the girl who brought her along did not respond as she kept moving.

Emma stopped furrowing her brows then asked

"Why are we really here?"

The girl stopped turned around and faced Emma then nicely smiled

"You'll know when we match further. He said it's a surprise" She responded 

Emma uneven her brows the more and looked around again.

"Okay... why would he send you then?" Emma asked

"I opted to be the one to call you." She replied innocently 

"W--why?" Emma inquired and the girl slowly moved close to her.

"Because I was the first girlfriend of Jamal and hence, in the best position to apologize on behalf of my group of girls for how we scared you. And threaten you. We should not have done that. I am sorry Emma... And we all are. I cannot make this any right than being the person calling you for the surprise waiting for you 3kms away. So common... Let us not waste any time. Jamal is impatient" She said holding her hand and moving forward.

Emma was speechless and still confused but the girl's words were too good to look fake or belie so, she followed her peacefully.

Only for them to land beside a lake.

Emma stopped at once while the girl smirked satisfied. 

"I the-- thought this was supposed to be a surprise! What's going on here?" Emma asked 

Instantly, the other girls came out from the hiding places, respectively. 

"Well, it is..the greatest surprise ever!" One of the girls said

Emma started moving backward

"What do y'all want from me?" Emma asked

"Nothing less than skin to the beast of the air" the same girl replied

Emma gulped as her entire world was turned upside down.

Her heartbeat speeds up more than a fast-moving train.

Her face turned pale and goose impose could be seen clearly all over her body.

"So what do you say Laura," Said one of the girls to Jamals' first girlfriend. 

"Let the game begin!" Laura roared giving them access to deal with Emma

Emma was about running away but hit an object on the ground and fell hard.

They all laughed mockingly at the scene as they matched forward and raised her.

They took towards the lack and gave her the beatings of her life until she was so weak like a dry leaf.

She had bruises everywhere as her whole body was soaked with blood since they gave her cuts too like she was been giving for sacrifice. 

She was about to lose her breath since she breathes heavily and had loosed a lot of blood.

Still, they were not satisfied as with the results.

So, the drawn her into the lake by pushing her head inside and counting for 5seconds then releasing her.

Giving her less time to regain her breath, they did it again counting 10seconds this time.

Since she was so weak and exhausted due to the energy lost and the fact that she had no more storage of oxygen left to supply to her entire system, she passed out.

It could have been a victory for them after that but then, one of the girls suggested that they cannot live her here like this, and neither can they carry her along because they did not know how to cover up their mess. So, they should get rid of her.

Out of the eight of them, just one denied the idea. But since the majority stood for her death, they threw her in the lake and left afterward.

The other girl who was displeased with the act waited after everyone was gone before she could try saving Emma.

But, it was already too late as she sacks deep.

Jamal never had a satisfying response about Emma's' whereabout after the false information given to him by his ex's.

He had to drive to her home that night to find her. But arriving there she was not there.

He searched every other place he thought she could be but to no avail.

That day marked the end of her existence. 

Though she was found later floating in the water, it only brought more sorrow to her family and Jamal that she was murdered. 

While those girls lived shamelessly till their departure during their old age. Yet, the secret behind their act was not revealed to anyone though the police officers did investigations.

The one and the only person who leashed the secret out was the girl who tried saving Emma.

She told her kid as a story. But her kid has never known it was a real scenario that took place.

Since then, the city of Elmont has been hunted by Emma's ghost.

Many lives were lost and still are, bringing us to this day...
