Chapter 05

"She said that you shouldn't touch her!" Terry says out in an angered tone.

And Elvis who is now lip bleeding

looks up at me and I had no choice but to pity him.

I walked passed Terry who was protecting me From Elvis who seems to be defeated feeling weak.

"You should not pity him... He almost killed you" Terry said to me annoyed.

"He's my best friend... Who are you to me?" I asked Terry as I held Elvis' face.

Terry looks at me with a surprised look, I can see as his muscles harden and his abs contracting.

I had upset him.

I did not mean to say it that way but I guess it was the truth.

He must feel now that I am an unreasonable person and between... Stanley quickly walks away.

But then I have to do this to maintain the friendship I have with Elvis.

Terry walks away out of disgust or anger... Or I'm guessing disappointmentm

I really don't know it, but I hope he forgives my rudeness.

Elvis stands up and walks away too and I look at him as he walks away with his bleeding lips.

"Who's going to take me home if you leave?" I shouted out loud to him hoping that he will act like a gentleman.

Rather he walks downstairs and then through the building door glass.

I can see him running to Stanley who was not so far from his car.

They both got into his own car and then they drove off leaving me behind.

I wonder why he does not want to drive me home then tears begin to fall from my eyes.

I was not able to control it, I had remembered how my mum had driven off with someone else, leaving I and my dad alone, then it started to rain.

Gosh!

And it's already getting late, I wonder what I will become if I stay in this gym much longer.

Through the glass wall of the building, I can see terry running towards a car.

He had made to beep and so He gets into his car and is about to drive off and I am sure that before I reach downstairs he would be gone.

But then a car got into his front and he was blocked.

I saw that I could meet up with him so I ran downstairs and under the rain, I ran to his car.

Putting my hands together and pleading to him, He opened the door for me and I quickly hop in.

Then the car in front drove off and he had enough space to drive out as well.

Soon enough, we were on the road and from a bag, at the back seat of his car he gave me a towel which I used to dry up my face with silence filling our speechlessness.

"I'm sorry for earlier"

"I did not mean to upset you in any form" I continued "it's okay, people have said the worst things to me... So it's not a big deal, feel free" Terry says to mem

"Shit! the rain today is so tough, I think we would have to park for a while... you know I am carrying the daughter of a multimillionaire" Terry continued acting cute.

"Oh shut it, you don't have to say it like that, you are supposed to call me a queen," I said to him

"That's funny," Terry says to me with a cute smile appearing on his face and his eyes that were glowing from the sunlight that pierced through the rain.

"Wait what am I doing," I said in my mind confused at some point.

"Stella do not fall for him, don't admire his features... Just focus on you reaching home and don't ever think that you are in love because you are not" I said to myself in my mind.

Terry parks his car in a free parking ground and waits for a while, then he turns and our eyes meet with sparkles everywhere.

What the hell is this?

I turn to look away immediately, "Oh, was I just lust admiring him again?" I said in my mind as I looked the other way.

"Hey, I will be dropping you at a bus stop and from there I will be gone I have another meeting to attend.

You can follow me there too if you want, it's actually an interview for a job," Terry says to me frankly.

"Then I imagined myself been in a bus with smelly dirty people, no... I can't take it" I said in my mind again.

"I will follow you"

"Oh what? okay, " Terry replied me like he did not expect my reply.

"Wait... Were you expecting me to say no,"

"kinda, I thought you would say no to follow me" Terry replied to me.

"I hope it is not so far, because I don't want to be late before I reach home... It would be wrong to meet my dad at home late again."

"And don't think it is because I have found interest in you... Because I really don't" I said to Terry who seems to smile while I talk.

God! He's so handsome.

"Okay, I will call my driver to come to pick me up," I said to Terry who was still smiling.

"Why the hell are you smiling?" I ask Terry who is still smiling at me.

I just hope and pray that he has no evil intentions, "Where are you going to? My house is by the left road, you can just drop me off and go for your interview" I said to Terry who still carried a smile on his face.

"Lord, why is he still silent all of a sudden, is this how when you are been kidnapped the person becomes," I said in my mind a little bit afraid of him.

"You are starting to scare me with that smile, where are we going to?" I asked Terry who is still driving to literally nowhere that I know.

"I know a place we could have fun today, I promise to take you back home," Terry said to me "How should I be sure that you don't want to kidnap and torture me, and not forgetting that you mentioned an interview," I said to him.

"Hahaha, no! I won't do much to a lady" Terry said to me giving me a flirty look.

"Uh... Okay, but how about your job interview?" I asked him.

"Don't worry about that, I have already texted someone there to tell them that I will not be available today, so it's cool?" he says just before.

"Boom!" A traumatic sound.
