Chapter:-14

Alexandra opened her eyes and looked around confused. The last thing she remembered was drinking at the bar  and then Alexander...Of course it was her husband . Alexander  had dragged her through the car and she had promptly collapsed into his arms. Alexandra didn't recognised the room and began getting out of the bed when she realized she wasn't alone.

"You're awake!" said Win excitedly, blurring to her bedside, "I don't know if you remember-"

"I know who you are, you're Sam husband ."

"You ok"

Ignoring Win question, Alexandra asked, "Where am I?"

"Headquarter."

"You mean in Dom headquarters? Wh..Why? Where's Alexander?" asked Alexandra, panicking. Alexander had been angry at her at the bar, but he wouldn't leave her with a bunch of his men's would he? Thinking about the Don threats from the previous night, Alexandra shuddered. No, Alexandra told himself, Alexander is ok now. He wouldn't...

"He's speaking with Sam in his office. Sam told me to watch over you," said Win, breaking Alexandra train of thought.

"I'm leaving," said Alexandra, getting up from the bed. Win ran to the door and stood there with a determined look on his face.

"Sorry girl, I can't let you leave. Sam order me and as his husband, I can't defy a direct order," said Win.

"Don't make me hurt you Win," said Alexandra stalking towards the fledgling.

"With what? You don't have any weapons!" said Win triumphantly.

"It's cute you think I need any to take you down," said Alexandra, smirking.

Win chuck .

"Alexandra you are the Donna but don't forget I am not just a Sam husband I am also Alexander cousin"

Before either of them could do or say anything else, the door opened. Alexnder  ran to check on Alexandra while Sam stood to the side. glaring at his husband. "I thought I told you to keep the girl on the bed?"

"Alexandra what are you doing out of bed?" asked Alexander , placing a hand on the small of her back and guiding her back towards the bed. Alexandra twisted out of her hold to glare at her husband.

"Why did you bring me here?" demanded Alexandra.

"You said you didn't want to go back to my mansion," said Alexander , "And I couldn't let you wander the streets of city. I figured staying here was a compromise. You said you were going to get a hotel."

"How the hell is this a compromise?" asked Alexandra. "And I meant a normal human hotel. Not one filled with mafias! I can't stay here."

"Sam, could you and Win give us a moment. Alexandra and I need to talk," said Alexander. Sam nodded, and grabbed his husband by the shoulder to drag him out.

"Alexandra, please sit down. You're causing yourself stress and it's not healthy for you," said Alexander. "I need to tell you something and you'll understand why I want you at the here instead of  a normal hotel when I'm done."

"Fine," said Alexandra, sitting down on the edge of the bed.

"First of all, I want you to know that I didn't intend for this to happen. Too much happened last night and it slipped my mind. How much do you know about being a Donna?" asked Alexander.

Alexandra shrugged his shoulders, "Before yesterday? Not much. I just know it's permanent."

"It's a lot more complicated that that. You know as a Don and as Donna it's our duty to provide a future leader to our group, it doesn't matter if it's boy or girl ,the only thing matter is it's our blood realted and I really don't know how it's happened but it's really slipped on my mind and I forgot to use a condom."

"Why are you tell...No. I can't be," said Alexandra, in denial.

"I'm sorry Alexnadra, I wasn't thinking last night and forgot we needed a condom," said Alexander.

"I can't be pregnant, I would know if I were! I haven't felt anything!" exclaimed Alexandra, starting to hyperventilate.

"You need to breathe darling, the stress isn't good for the baby," said Alexander , "Lisa checked on you while you were sleeping off the alcohol, she confirmed that you're pregnant."

Alexandra wrapped an arm around her stomach, "Oh god, I was drinking. I probably killed it. That's why I collapsed right? It's dead."

"Shh, it's okay Alexandra, the baby is okay. She says that as long as you don't drink anymore, he or she will be fine. You collapsed because you drank too much and was exhausted."

"I'm really pregnant aren't I?" asked Alexandra, staring at her stomach.

"You are. And while I'm sorry I forgot that we needed condom, I'm not sorry about the baby. I promise that I will take care of you and the baby," said Alexander.

"This still doesn't explain why you brought me here," said Alexandra .

"Your parents kicked you out of the house and you refused to stay at my mansion. This was the next best option," said Alexander.

"How is a this place even an option? I'll just get my own place," said Alexandra.

"Absolutely not Alexandra. Maybe if you weren't pregnant, but it's too dangerous for you to stay by yourself. I have many enemies that would want to attack you to get to me," said Alexander, "Once word gets out that you're pregnant, people will come after you."

"I'm pregnant, not crippled," said Alexandra, "I can protect myself."

"You can't fight as well when you're pregnant Alexandra," said Alexander. "I won't endanger you or my child. Either you stay at my place or you stay here ."

"How is making me stay with a bunch of mafias keeping me safe?" asked Alexandra.

"Sam and his group are very loyal to me," said Alexander, "They will not let anything happen to you."

"You promised that you would give me space Alexander !" exclaimed Alexandra, "Forcing me to choose between your loft and your buddy's hotel isn't giving me space." Alexander was infuriating Alexandra with her attitude. The Don  couldn't seem to understand why Alexandra was upset.

"That was before you were kicked out of your parents place. And I didn't know you were pregnant at the time," said Alexander , "This changes things. Alexandra, I am trying to be understanding. I really am. But this is not negotiable. Either you stay with here or you come home with me. Having your own place is not an option."

"So what? Everything you said this morning doesn't count anymore because I'm pregnant with your baby?" asked Alexandra. "You're doing a great job at 'winning me back.'"

"I didn't say that Alexandra. If you don't want to stay with me at my place, you can stay here and take all the time you need. Or if you want, I can give you your own room at the mansion. Either way, I won't touch you without your permission," said Alexander.

Alexandra took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She wanted to punch her stubborn husband but knew that she couldn't. Even with his good mood, Alexander was proving to be a dangerous person. Alexandra didn't want to put her baby in danger, even if she wasn't sure how she felt about it. Shaking her head in defeat, she made a decision.

"You're sure it's safe here? For the baby?" asked Alexandra.

"Yes. The place will not harm you or the baby. Sam has already assigned Seth to be your bodyguard. He's a fledgling, but he's loyal to a fault and you already know him," said Alexander .

"Then I don't need a bodyguard I am officer" said Alexandra, "

"Even protectors need protecting sometimes," replied Alexander,

"I don't need people to follow me around!" exclaimed Alexandra , "I'll stay here for now, but I won't be followed around like some criminal."

"Alexandra, please, it's for my peace of mind. I know you can protect yourself, but even you need help sometimes," said Alexander.

"I'll bring Man and Ohm if I need anything," said Alexandra.

"Actually, I would prefer it if you didn't," said Alexander , "At least until I've sorted this thing out with the authority and your parents. I don't know who's side they're on."

"They're my siblings damn it. I know they're on my side and you can't keep them from me," said Alexandra, practically yelling.

"Then why didn't they help you yesterday? They let you run out of that house and didn't follow you. They didn't even bother to see if you got home," said Alexander , "You could have been in serious danger yesterday. Can't you see that? You were very lucky the bartender recognized you and notified his owner."

"My parents must've stopped them. They care about me, I know they do. They tried to take you on when I was taken by the authorities . There's no way they would abandon me," said Alexandra.

"Okay, they can visit you here. But I don't want you traipsing across town arresting my people with them," said Alexander.

"So basically this room is my jail cell," said Alexandra, flopping down on the bed.

"This is only temporary Alexandra, I promise," said Alexander.

"Can I at least call Ohm  to let him know I'm okay? I know you don't believe me, but he must be worried," said Alexandra.

"Of course darling, I'm not trying to cut you off from them. I just want to make sure it's safe for you first," said Alexander, "I know you're upset with me, but I'm just worried about you." Leaving Alexandra to talk to his brother  in private, Alexander  made his way back to Sam  office.

"You have a serious problem, you know that right?" asked Sam.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," said Alexander, purposefully evading the question.

"I'm talking about your incessant need to be in control all the time. And your border-line stalkerish tendency to be possessive," said Sam.

"I just want to make sure she was  safe," said Alexander, "What's wrong with that?"

"Nothing. But you're taking this too far," said Win. "Let the girl get his own place. If you want, we can station people all over the place to make sure she's safe. Forcing her to choose between here and your mansion is going to suffocate her, and Alexander why the hell you lie to her that she is pregnant"

"Win" Sam hiss.

"What he lie to her tell me Alexander, the hell is you planning" Win gare.

"It's simple Win firstly I will make sure she came back to me and then with the help of Lisa I create all the simtums of pregnancy the ..," said Alexander with smirk .

"Then"Sam ask with smile.

"Her lovely siblings kill the unborn baby"
