Chapter 4 The most dreaded

Adrian bought a condo for him , Leonid and Timofey , and few flats in the nearby areas for a few of his members who were leaving with them as well. It was dangerous for them to live together in a same place , they could be easily identified and attacked all at once . 

"So what's the plan after we get there, should we start preparing to look for her?"

 Adrian sat on a seat facing the sunset, his eyes ablaze . Rest his arm behind his head , closed his eyes and relaxed in his seat.

"No , we'll meet eventually."

It was the day they had to leave for US , Adrian tells his father and takes a few men with him as well. He first settles his gang members to their places , asking Leonid to leave for the condo along with  Timofey  who was tired because of jet lag . He orders his men to inform him first if they find anything suspicious and leaves . On his way , he gets a call from his father .

"Since you are in US , I want you to expand our business. There are a few dealers , talk to them. I have sent you a list."

"I will"

He reached the condo, and went to see Timofey in his room, he was sleeping peacefully . He sat by him on the bed and kissed his forehead . He was worried for him , Tim needed protection from their enemies . He stood up and went outside to see Leonid in the kitchen cooking .

"Want some French toast ?"

"Yeah , thanks."

"Tell me how it tastes , hun"

He said coyly , pretending to be a couple to piss off Adrian . 

We are childhood best friends he wouldn't kill , I think.  Leo thought.

Adrian was used to his bullshit , he ignored what he said and just stood there with a blank face which screamed I'm so done with you .Leonid chuckled as he served him his food. They sat and started eating .

" Your dad gave me a list of the buyers"

"Yeah , he called. I already sat up a meeting with one of them today"

"When do we have to go?"

"No , you will stay with Tim , I'll go . You are the only person I trust alone with Tim"

"Ooh , here  comes the waterworks"

Leo said as he started wiping his fake tears dramatically. Adrian sighed and got up , opened the door and turned around and said.

"I'm leaving , call me if there is a problem."

"Okay honey bye , I love you too"

Leonid said that really loudly , and an old couple staying next door to them , were passing by heard him and started giggling . 

"Aww , Tom see how cute they are. They look so good together."

The old woman said to her husband all the while giggling at Adrian, while the husband smiled at him as well . Adrian turned beet red , he turned around to glare at Leo, to find him laughing his ass out on the floor . Adrian closed the door and went out of there. He heard the woman saying behind him.

"He was blushing so bad, oooh this young love. I hope they stay together forever."

Adrian power walked out of there , shaking his head.

Great ,now our neighbors think we are gay because of that  little stupid bastard . Great , just great."

He reached the basement where he had to meet the buyer and started talking business.

Natalie walked around the building looking for spots that might be useful later , Isaac stayed back resting. While the other men were already taken to their flats to have some rest as well.

As she was walking , she heard some people talking in the basement . She opened the door quietly and saw exchange of drugs between two people. She couldn't see them properly as the room was dim lighted.

The  door suddenly shut behind her loudly because of the wind and all the attention was now on her. She remained calm and started to think for a solution. The other leader who was making a deal with Adrian saw her and walked toward her with a menacing look on his face. He took out his gun and put it on her head 

"You just made the biggest mistake of your life coming here"

Natalie remained calm as she knew they fed on fear after all she was used to these type of situations very well. She took a good look at him , then remembered him .She had read about the gangs in US before coming here. She tilted her head , kept an unreadable expression on her face.

"Ooh , Lucas Williams , the most dreaded in US "

Lucas looked surprised about her knowing him, but maintained his cool .

"How do you know me? "

"I thought you would be better being the biggest mob here , but look at you,  your hands are shaking clearly indicating you're a heavy smoker . Your eyes are dry and red , an alcoholic as well . Your face shows desperation , hmmm, you lost something important recently didn't you?"

Lucas's face paled as Natalie studied him correctly .

"Now how can you kill me with those trembling hands ?" She asked innocently

"H- h- how... w-who are you ?

Got you . Natalie thought as she chucked lightly , angering Lucas.

"I'll ruin your whole life , I'll kill each one of your family members"

Hearing the threat to her family , her face became cold. 

"I'd love to see you try" she replied with a chilling cold voice scaring the men around them.

Lucas gets further  annoyed and tries to take her by the collars to push her against the wall.

 Natalie kicks off the gun from his hand , then twists his hand behind his back, she puts her gun at his head , stopping the others from shooting at her 

Adrian quickly comes out as well to help but freezes when he sees her , the same brown eyes .

 Natalie kicks him on his legs , making him fall on his knees . 

"Now that you are where you belong , I'll tell you who I am . I'm the person who planned that attack at your house and got you raided by the police by giving them evidence being anonymous, making you lose your million dollar casino, as you tried to deceive my father, ..... Dimitri Ivanov, rings any bell?."
