The journey to the villa was silent. Nick sat in the front with Guiseppe, and Gabriel endured the ride back sitting next to Rene. His face turned to the window he didn't want a conversation with her, and he had only sat in the back with Rene because he didn't entirely trust Nick not to start a row in the car. The way Nick felt he'd probably open the door and shove her out. They drove straight to the cottage up past the villa, and past Guiseppe and Sophia's home.
