I am Razal, the weakest of all Neem warriors but the smartest of them all. Here I am as a refugee in Persia and here is my account of the fall of Golem, Babylon, and the rise of Persia.
Chapter 1
PROLOGUE
Once upon a time there was myths and legends, it was once said;
"And the gods came down to earth and took the fair women of the earth unto themselves and they bore their children."
These children of the gods were giant, evil and corrupt. They trampled upon the inhabitants of the earth with their incredible strength and dark magical powers, they are called ANAKIMS.
Thousands of years passed and the Anakim bloodline watered down as they mixed up and married more earthly women giving birth to more human than gods until they formed a city called Golem within the large Assyrian empire.
The characteristic barbarity never left the Anakim bloodline and with time it became a typical Assyrian thing to be ruthless, barbarous and almost cannibal with enemies.
Many generations passed and lineages changed and the Anaki bloodline watered down to the barest minimum. The purest bloodline of the Anakims however were called Neems in the Assyrian tongue, meaning spirits.
They were a separated clan born for war and revered by kings. They fight like invincible spirits, they moved like air in combat and were too fast that they were almost impossible to match on the battlefield, coupled with their mastery of double edged iron swords, they began to be seen as gods themselves.
As early as the age of six, all young children, boys or girls born by the purest Anaki bloodline were taken into the 'Crypts of Bane' and trained in the darkness to learn their peculiar dark magic and master the double edged sword as well as all the weapons of war.
Today, we are a massive golden army who fights at the command of the Assyrian King, and although it is said;
"One Neem warrior is worth a thousand soldiers on the battle field."
There is a prophesy that has lasted for ages which we have always been dreadful to, it says;
"On that day, the earth shall be purged of witchcraft and evil bloodlines by fire!".
The King of Babylon rides upon Assyria with fiery horses and a mighty army! He flies the banner of his god Marduk.
He is most likely the fire.
