What Kind Of Person Are you?

He said in a gravelly voice, gradually tightening his grip over Sarah's throat with his right hand while his left hand was holding Sarah's right hand with all his power, almost embedding it into the wall behind Sarah. 

He was in his scariest look today. His eyes were red due to so much consumption of alcohol and Sarah was slowly running out of breath. It was just so dark in there and they were standing in the corner

'Say something, Sarah, why aren't you answering?' He said again in the same voice.

'Tell me before I lose it!' He yelled suddenly which made Sarah's eyes teary. She started to breathe heavily to survive this scenario and with all her energy and breath left in her, she said in a wheezy voice,

'I'm not able to breathe Mr. Niall ...'

It all started one month ago...

Finally, my job hunt for today ends here cause I came back home, again, empty-handed. This means I have to go through the other job offers which have vacancies at this time. Usually, in my city, all the companies put the No Vacancy board on but this time doesn't know why. But I knew that now have to get a job anyhow, cause it's going to be almost a year after I left my mom's mansion-like house and now I think It's time for me to get individualistic and not be dependent on her. She has already done so much for me and it's time for me, to pay back.'

This is what Sarah Brown, a girl with dark brown hair and big eyes of pale green colour was thinking while sitting on the sofa of her rented house. Suddenly her phone rang, it was Lisa Edwards.

Lisa, a girl with long black hair up to the middle of her back and Super twinkling light black eyes is the only friend of Sarah, She is short in height and has a fair colour. Sarah knows her for two years when she went to her hospital to get the treatment for the first time. She had her reasons to get treatment but after that, they became friends, or if more precisely they became best friends.

'Hey Lisa, Wassup?' Asked Sarah with joyfully. But all her joyfulness washed away when Lisa said with full excitement,

'There's again good news for you, guess what?' 

'What?' Asked Sarah with a bored voice.

Sarah knew what the good news Lisa had again, cause till now she has gotten used to this line in this tone of her voice.

'Usually, they don't do so at this time but, there's a vacancy list out of a great company, and I'm sure they will hire you.' Said Lisa.

Earlier too many times Lisa has made Sarah go for interviews of different companies in the past two years but each company rejected her like she was a waste. Sarah knew that whatever this company was this time too, she'll hit the dead end of her job-hunting if she goes on this route, but the sentence that they'll hire Sarah ‘definitely’ made her wonder what makes Lisa so confident.

'Why are you so confident this time?' She asked feeling a bit better than a few seconds ago.

'Actually, they say they want a candidate who has less job experience and fewer qualifications as they need a manager for their CEO. ' Said Lisa.

'Oh really! Wow!!' Said Sarah again maintaining the boredom.

She baffled in between whether Lisa was genuinely offering her an opportunity or was she making fun of her saying indirectly that she was less intelligent and less qualified. She was in no mood to appear for the interview and Lisa made her feel strong after telling her the name of the company,

'Oh c'mon! Sarah, don't be bored. It's actually a respectful company, do you want to know the name?' 

'Not interested at all but, at least I should know the name.' Said Sarah.

'It's the Ambition!!' Exclaimed Lisa with full excitement.

'Hold on! You said earlier the post is the manager of their CEO, so you meant the manager of the CEO of The Ambition?' Asked Sarah with suspicion.

'Yah! CEO of "The Ambition." Isn't it exciting?' Said Lisa.

But Sarah had no excitement, as she knew who the hell was CEO, Niall Carter.

The person whose all the managers leave the post after working with him for a month only. The Ambition, started by Mr. Johnathan Edward Carter, Niall Carter's father twenty-five years ago was the company that has never dropped down from the top five best companies of Asia since its last twenty years. After Mr. Johnathan joined politics he handed over his company to his son Niall Carter. 

Niall Carter also is in the top ten most famous business man's list of Asia but the stories of his resigning managers are still a mystery. He only hires lady managers and they leave after working for a maximum of one month under him. All these history things rewind and played in Sarah's mind as soon as she heard the company's name, thanks to all the newspaper articles she read. She made her mind that she'll never work under him cause God knows what he does to all his Managers.

'Leave it, I won't work for a mystery man.' Declared Sarah.

'Mystery man!! What do you mean?' Asked Lisa like she was all innocent.

'Don't tell me you don't know the history of all the managers.' Said Sarah furiously.

'History? Oh, you mean his managers. Don't worry at all I know you can handle.' Said Lisa confidently.

'What? How to mean you are, just because Niall Carter is your crush you want me to work under him. Though you know that he is a bit weird.' Said Sarah being frustrated. 

She thought her denial will work, but she was forgetting something that Lisa Edwards is known for her persistency and her blackmailing behaviour towards her family and friends and Lisa knew that this trick always works whenever she hits a dead end.

'Mean!! Okay then, don't go there. But keep one thing in mind, never try to call me or meet me. This, was our last phone call. By Sarah. ' Said Lisa and was about to end the phone call.

'Okay fine!' Said Sarah and sighed feeling defeated.

'I'll go there.' She said finally.

'Oh really! I knew that you love me, Sarah.' Said Lisa.

'And you also know that your blackmailing always works on me, anytime.' Said Sarah sarcastically.

'Okay then, I'll call you tomorrow for listening to the good news. Bye.' Said Lisa completely ignoring Sarah's sarcastic comments and ended the phone call.

Now it was time to look into Niall Carter's background. Sarah searched every interview just to find out his real side, but as the whole world knows that this world we live has no place for truth in Media especially, the same happened here too. Each article was dripping honey in his praise. Each interview showed how great he is and how intelligent and charming he is. But to Sarah's curiosity, no one mentioned anything about all the manager's resignation. She slept for just four hours and the whole night the thought that kept bugging her was, Niall Carter!
