He Is A Total Weirdo

I sat in the car before him so to avoid any circumstances in which he could scold me.

He came and sat in the seat right next to me. I looked at him and he didn't even bother to look at me.

'Mr. Niall, you may please sit on the backseat comfortably, why are you sitting here?' I asked him with adding all honorifics.

'I'm not sure about your driving and I don't wish to die all of a sudden in the morning.' he said arrogantly.

I sighed in frustration and started to drive.

'This..is for you.' He said and handed over a chocolate bar to me out of the blue as we reached the destination.

'A chocolate bar? But why?' I asked.

'Umm..take this as an apology from my side. Emma told me yesterday that you were afraid of darkness and Jeremy was comforting you.' He said looking in front.

Oh! so you finally understood, you arrogant ass.

'Thanks a lot, Mr Niall .' I said with a smile.

'Don't smile, you look ugly, and I don't want a rumour tomorrow that I'm dating my manager.' He said.

'Let's go they are waiting.' He said further and went outside.

We went to the meeting of the new product we were about to launch, to settle the conflicts we were having with the company with whom we're collaborating...

The meeting went nice and we came back to our office and Mr Niall went inside. I was also going in when I met Emma on the way but as we entered the building and Emma said,

'Have you by any chance seen Jeremy?' 

'Je...Jeremy?' I asked being confused why was she asking.

'Yup, actually he came with me to the office but now he's nowhere?' She said while her eyes searching for me.

'He came to the office with you? But why?' I asked with hatred expressions for Jeremy.

'Umm..actually he's...' She said and in between my phone rung.

'Go ahead!' She said as I was confused, should I take this call or not.

'Hello, who's this?' I asked picking up the call cause the number was unknown.

'Hello, Sarah?' Said someone in a quite and quavering voice, which looked like a woman's voice.

'Yes speaking.' 

'Will you please come home Sarah?' Said the woman from either side of the phone.

'Whose speaking, Aunt Margaret is this you?' I said worriedly.

'No' Said the woman.

'An...Anna!' She said in the lowest voice she could say.

'Anna? What happened why are you speaking in a low voice, is everything alright?' I asked being more worried.

'Sarah there's someone in our house, please come home fast.' She said and I instantly Yelled 'What??' 'You mean an intruder?' I asked just to confirm.

'Hmm.' She said again in a low voice.

And then I remembered that I left my number in her room just in case she needed my help.

I looked at Emma and she understood immediately,

'Go, I'll handle here everything.' She said.

'I'm so sorry Emma though you're president still, you've to do all these things.' I said 

'It's fine when Niall's manager left their jobs then I had handled. So, don't worry go. She needs you.' She said with a smile.

'Thank you Emma' I said and rushed to the stairs.

After the lift incident, I have never dared to take the lift, I have legs I can walk so why lift.

I rushed to the parking lot...

'Sarah!' I whispered as I heard some footsteps approaching me.

And finally, those footsteps stopped just in front of the cupboard in which I was hiding. Someone opened the door and bent down. It was a man and as soon as he saw me he smirked and said,

'Oh! so you're here' 

I screamed my lungs out and closed my eyes. Just after I screamed Sarah came into my room and pushed that man back and said,

'Jeremy! What are you doing?' 

She took me out of the cupboard and I hugged her tightly. She calmed me by brushing my hair with her hand slowly.

'Jeremy, you know she was scared.' She said to the man.

'Oops! sorry did I scared you, young lady?' He said and looked at me. I closed my eyes just to avoid any kind of eye contact with him. What was he doing in this house?

'Sarah, he was the intruder. I told you that someone is in this house. Please report him to the police.' I said and stood behind Sarah.

'Woah! Calm down Ms.' He said.

'Your sister brought me here. And...about the intruder, there was no one in this house girl. It was just your hallucinations.' He said with crossed arms and one raised eyebrow.

'I helped you and you're making me the culprit, Nice world!' He said.

'She was scared, Jeremy. Why can't you understand.' Sarah scolded him.

He smirked,

'I'll wait near my car when you're done come outside and I'll take your office.' He said and went outside.

'Okay Anna, I have to go now.' She said and I got scared. I can't live at this house alone now, what if this time someone comes.

She was about to go when I held her one hand and said.

'Sarah can you drop me to the library, please.'

My twinkling eyes made her laugh.

'Okay fine.' She said and we came outside.

We finally came office and everyone stared at us. Some whispered within themselves. Obviously, after the lift incident, I and Jeremy have been talking of the town, and it has been almost two days.

'Where did you found him, Sarah?' Asked Emma as we came in and Emma came outside of the lift.

'Umm... in the parking lot.' I said and looked at him with crossed arm teasing him while asking him whether should I tell what I saw there or not but he gave me a deadly glare so I didn't dare to tell her the whole story.

'What! so all this time you were in the parking lot?' Yelled Emma in shock and anger.

'Well, no at first I was in the lift and then in the parking lot, that makes a very huge difference you see, darling.' He said and kept his hand on Emma's shoulder.

Emma gave her a cold look and he smirked and walk away.

'That look doesn't scare me, Emma, try something else.' He said as he walked away.

I finally went to my desk and sat there all relaxed that now, I can work without any tension. I started to arrange some data on my computer and suddenly Mr Niall called me.

'Come in.' He said as I knocked on the door.

'Yes, Mr Niall. Is there anything you need?' I asked smiling.

'Where were you all this time.' he asked again with blank expressions looking at the documents he was reading.

'Umm...there was an emergency so, I had to go. I'm sorry Mr Niall .' I said.

'Oh! and you didn't even bother to ask for my permission.' He said and looked at me.

'No Mr Niall, actually told Emma about it so...' I said and he interrupted in between.

'I think I hired you as my manager and not her.' He said emphasizing the words I and she. Gradually he was raising his voice.

'I'm so sorry Mr Niall but it was urgent and I had to rush out of the blue.' I said and looked down.

'So you were in a hurry, but your car keys. They were on the table. Then how come you went there, if you were rushing?'

I looked up in Surprise that in my absence he even checked my desk. Wow!

'I realized that too when I reached the parking lot but then Jeremy gave me..' I said and he interrupted.

'Again!!' he screamed.

'I warned you, Ms Sarah Brown, that this is not your house it's a company of reputation so can you stop!!' He said and started panting.

'Can you stop all these your flirty things here in the office?' He screamed at his high pitch again.

Why was he so irritating, Why? In the morning he was all nice and now. I was just so frustrated by all his anger issues. There's a limit to bare anything and this something above from it. My eyes went teary again, cause there was nothing I could do this time too. He is a weirdo and I'll make him accept that one day.

'You may please leave!' He screamed.

I went and sat on my desk and burst into tears...
