✑ Chapter 2

AUSTIN'S body was shaking when his attention swift into Larkspur who has a worried expression on his face. “You’re spacing out, dingleberry,” Larkspur spoke with a gruff.

He knew that he’s drunk but he can still think clearly.

He didn’t look up at Larkspur who’s now sitting beside him, he was patting his back.

“You know dingleberry? It’s okay to be sad and all but you have to accept it. Don't lock yourself in the past,” Larkspur said, he was patting his back. Austin's head was low and his palm was on his forehead.

“I can’t…” Larkspur just listened and stayed by his side. “I didn’t even have a chance to say how much I love them, if I only knew. If I only knew.”

Larkspur could feel the agony of Austin. The only thing Larkspur can do was to be by his side and never leave him behind.

He hates seeing his best friend like this, he wants him to keep looking forward but the thought of his parents impacted his life.

He was still searching for his parents even if he hasn't heard anything from them for a decade.

They went silent, even if Austin wasn't crying, Larkspur could really feel the pain through his heavy breathing.

Minutes later, Efron popped out of nowhere to tell them to get ready.

Austin raised his head then reached for his rapier. He looked up the wall clock, it was already 2 in the morning.

He heaved a sigh, they started to depart from Lysandros' house where their drinking spree took place that just started earlier.

Austin, Lawrence, Divine, Larkspur, Efron, Lysandros, Lennon, Lazzini, and Anthony boarded in their battle aircraft.

They began to take off the same time the handmade sky started to open.

They got out, the transparent tunnel greeted them where various of fishes can be seen in the background.

They are focusing on their own things. They are nearing to their destination, which is located under the ground. Triumvir's nest.

Austin pressed his back on his seat. They’ve finally found their other nest. They can now save those innocent people who are suffering from that evil in nature.

They will be reassured, finally, they can help the victims' cases. Even if they do can't save everyone in a hurry, they will not stop until something like this still happens in the world.

“Device check. Can you clearly hear me?” Larkspur pronounced on his microphone, he was fast typing on his laptop.

“Yes, dingleberry.” They answered in chorus.

“Ready for take-off in three…two…” The seven of them readied themselves for takeoff. “One…” Lysandros ended. 

They fell in the air at the same time, when they are near hitting the ground they pulled the string that was connected to the bag that will spread their wings.

They announced their safe landing, without making any small sound they began to move around.

“There’s a tree on your side, Ant, pull down the branch that tree will open,” Lysandros denoted.

When the door opened the tube was the first thing they saw that will lead them underground where Triumvir's testing ground is located.

“There are around thirty persons when you got in. Please make it faster,” Larkspur reminded. 

“L, Cleo, and Aust go downstairs immediately, every door that you'll see have the victims inside. Div and Renzo, follow the three until you reach their office. Find any useful information about this motherfuckass.” They nodded at what Lysandros said. 

“Ant, Laz, and Lios kindly kill those fuckhead who’s blocking their way," Larkspur added. 

After a minute or so, Austin got irritated when he heard Larkspur any Lysandros' long sigh in the other line. "Do you guys know how loud your breath is?" he tsked. 

“Sorry, dingleberry, we can visibly see how these men do horrible things to those innocent involved here.” Larkspur was aghast.

“Yea, so make it faster so we can take them away from this hellhole. God, those poor children,” Lysandros said, Austin could imagine his friends' feelings at that time. 

Five minutes passed and there are thirty men attacked them, it was handled by Anthony and Lazzini. 

Lennon, Efron, and Austin go downstairs as Lawrence and Divine were behind them then turned right after. 

The three remained walking to their designated lane until they're at the edge of the room that has three doors. 

No light was seen there, it was pure blackness. 

Its space wasn't expected to be large, in fact, it seems that the victims are compressed which causes the mixed odors there.

"Renzo and Div, go upstairs. The children are there. Ten armed forces are gathered there, be careful." Austin heard Lysandros. 

He turned his attention on his two friends. "I'll take west." Lennon marched towards the door on the west. 

While Efron pointed the right door. "I'll go there. Good luck, dingleberry." Then headed to the right room. 

Austin ran towards the center, even if the metal door was securely locked he got in easefully

As the door screeched open his eyes darkened at the sight he saw.

Twenty men stopped from what they're doing when they got a signal coming from Austin. 

Austin didn’t hold back his anger. He attacked the men fearlessly, he doesn’t care even if he broke their bones.

"Aust, please don't use your sword," Larkspur warned when he was about to take his rapier in his hip holster. 

"Their blood will scatter everywhere, dingleberry!" He didn't hear what his friends said to him, he stayed deaf. 

After finishing the other men he focused on the remaining ten in that room. 

He was gracefully slicing the men to death, he didn’t mind even if blood splashed on his face and body and when he finished the last man Larkspur announced that the mission has ended successfully.

He heard Larkspur clicked his tongue. "Aust, please hold back your anger." He didn't listen to what his friend said. 

He let out a deep sigh when Austin saw their abolisher, they started clearing up the place while the others assisted the victims to send them to Helios' hospital to check if there are complications with the victims. 

“Lazzini, get ready to melt the place down,” Lysandros said in the other line. 

At the corner of his eye, he saw a woman. Her feminine area was exposed barely. He looked to their men, no one was assisting the woman, they were all busy with other victims. 

He returned his gaze on her. Her body was trembling with coldness, she was unconscious.
