Diane just chuckle mocking him and looked back at him with a smug smile “you know what, that is so embarrassing to be played like you. I left and stopped according to my wishes” she muttered slowly, making David not open-mouthed and left him with her smirked on her face

David mouth tightened with annoying feeling in his head, he destroyed the items on his desk while Diane smile plastered on her face, she approach Cary desk, she asked him to help and followed her into the record room to find information about Malcolm, On the other side of the office, Nancy just curious hear what happened in the room, and immediately followed Diane to record room

When Diane got in to the room she focused at seeing the footage of Malcolm match, but his face was always can’t see because of his hat. All she could see was the small tattoo on his right hand. Meanwhile reporter Cary asked if she had a way to contact Overby

“No. I have to start looking for it” she replied while avoid Cary gaze

“Diane… this is really a lie ... then what will you do?” he snored with a worried expression, while Diane only focused on the recording screen

“Easy Cary. I will bring him here” she reason by biting her lips, focus to the screen

From outside the room, Nancy heard their conversation, and smiled silly, nodded her head and walk away

An hour passed, facing her head up, she groan, feel tired looking at the screen and information that’s no end. Cary looked at her just take a deep breath and continue searching an information, her cellphone rang an unknown number show on the screen, without thinking she answered

“Hello?” she repeated “Hello…who is this” after hearing the sound in the other line, she immediately sat up straight on her chair

“Of course…I-I...can” she stunned, and answer it with a stutter, Cary by her side just thinned his eyes look at her

“Thank you” with that she hung up, and rushed out of the room

“Cary, sorry, I have to meet someone, can you continue without me?” she asked while near the door

“O…okay” Cary nodded raising his eyebrows, with that she went out the door, left the room

Diane drove her car to a restaurant, she entered a special room only for two people, there was already a man waiting for her

“Please sit” the man said with a warm smile on his face, pointing to the chair in front of him

“Thank you” Diana obeyed with a reaction of hesitate on her face

“Calm down, I just want to talk to you” the man chuckle look at Diane face

“Okay” she take a breath and try show her smile

“I represent the White House, to bring out that you are a candidate for the next presidential spokesperson” he spoke casually focusing his eyes on Diane, while Diane gulped and blinked her eyes

“hmm” Diane hummed try to searching her word “-do you know, a journalist should stay away from authority and even politics while watch it with the right intelligence and behavior” she say, straight her shoulders regaining her confidence

“I know you grew up tenaciously without the strength of your parents, your husband is also a famous lawyer as a public defender. The way you become successful by working hard, we think you can get the trust of the community and peoples. would you like to work with us?” he reason try to convince Diane while Diane just stare, open her mouth just to be closed again “-We will verify the candidates for one month, of course, during this one month you should not cause trouble. Social reputation, your family, if you can maintain your status, you will deserve it” the man continue

Diane met a man, he’s the presidential secretary, he was told Diane that she would be appointed as a presidential spokesperson candidate in white house. He gave Diane time for one month during the process, with that the meeting finished, and Diane returned to her office, to prepare for the News Night Broadcast.

“Are you heading home” Will stand in front of the hallway stopped Kurt who was walking towards the elevator with him following

“No, I stay in Westin” he said glance to will and waiting the elevator door open.

“Unusual... You always work late” will said Spontaneously with his briefcase in hand look at elevator lights avoiding Kurt gaze while Kurt groan “-and you said you want to tell me” he said headed into the elevator as elevator door open and looked at Kurt with his wide grin face

All day Will tried to approach Kurt to talk, but he always have an excuse avoiding will

“Oh, come on will, you won’t let me go easy, -don't you have business with your girl” Kurt grumble still standing in front of the elevator door, hand running through his hair looking frustrated

“No, no... My girl’s not in town and actually I have a company” Will muttered slowly with curious on his face hide to laugh focus at Kurt face

“Uhhh, okay I give up” Kurt said gruffly by lifting his hand in the air and stepping into elevator by his side will star to laugh

After broadcasting, Diane sat alone in her room, thinking about everything that happened today, she torn, how to get an interview with Malcolm, her career, Press Secretary, too many thoughts in her head, she was remind of him too, when she look at golden band on her finger, she looked at her cellphone screen, whether she should call him, why he didn’t call, does he want to end this…shook her head, she stop thinking, she pressed the number on her phone

“Liz, do you have time?”

After making some resistance, the old man gave up in an easier way with young man and finally they sat drinking at Westin bar

“So… where the thing go?” Will muttered lifting the glass to his lips

“I-..I was drunk yesterday Will, and I awake on her bed in the morning” he replied in a small voice with a blank expression on his face while will narrowed his eyes

“You mean yesterday, after we talk” Will eyes grew wide with Kurt nodded looked at him

“Yep, my steps take me there” Kurt smiled sadly beneath his mustache

“I mean, yes, you should talk to her, but I don't think that you go to her that night” Will say looking for Kurt eyes

“I thought so too, but I couldn't help it” he sip his drink “-I saw her in a big screen, and that is….everything is blurred”

“Oh men” Will demand try not to laugh

“Yep, I’m blind” he grumble while will chuckle

“Blind for her” Will keep laughing until finally stop remembering the expression of Kurt depression yesterday, clearing his throat “How is her reaction ?”

Kurt just shook his head. ”I don’t know, I can't remember anything talking to her, she was gone when I woke up, I just found a note that said we'll talk later, call me” Kurt sigh like thinking about something

“Are you call her” Will break his though

“No, no…are you crazy!” he said gruffly “-I feel ashamed to face her now” sipping his drink again

“May I ask ... is Diane angry when you are a lawyer again? You met her when you were a famous young judge, right?” Will had long wanted to know why Kurt choose a lawyer again, even though he himself wanted to be a judge

Kurt shook his head “No, she supports me, maybe she also knows that I chose it because of her”

“Because of her?” Will stare while Kurt pouting his lips

Kurt carried by his mind, sipping his drink “when I was a judge, when she also had an abortion, I blamed myself for not being able to stop her, every time I heard about the cases of children died, I could not act fairly, so… that's why I went back to being a lawyer” Will just look at Kurt face bowed his head
