Part Two - Trying To Get Closer

As usual, Reya wakes up every morning to help a woman who works in her house cook. Yes... the woman is named Aza, a middle-aged woman who has worked at her home since Reya was 1 month old, until now. And Reya is also reluctant to call her aunt because for her she is already like her own biological parents, so she calls with a mother. Although at first, Dayu felt bad at Reya's insistence, she finally agreed to the call.

The little child walks with her face still dull, because when she wakes up she hasn't washed her face. She approached Dayu, who is now cooking his breakfast.

"Mum'... Reya wants to help!"

When the dishes are finished one by one, he places the food on the table. Not forgetting Reya helped tidy the table. "Mum, I want to bring Luis breakfast," she tells Dayu, who immediately nods.

Shortly afterward, Dayu gives the lunchbox to Reya who is now smiling herself. And it surprised Dayu to see that, usually, the little girl was never this happy with his life, but this time he was also happy to see it. "Done!" she said, looking at the contents of the box.

She got out of the chair holding something. "I'm going to Luis's house first, Mum!" she told her to ask permission so that Dayu did not have to worry.

"Be careful. Don't run!" Dayu reminds Reya.

Upfront of Luis's house, she knocked on the door first. And a woman opened it. "Please come in!" the woman is Raina, she loves the presence of the little girl.

"Thank you Rain!" she replied with a heartfelt smile.

Inside, she immediately approached Luis who is now busy watching television. It's Sunday, so maybe that guy's not working.

"I brought you breakfast!" Reya opens the voice to tell her what is now in her hand.

Luis glances for a moment, then re-focuses on the screen in front of him. "Don't you like it?" she asks quietly, afraid the man is angry.

Luis stands while taking the box in that child hand without saying anything, his expression is completely flat and it makes Reya wonder in his mind. She is confused by the attitude of Luis who has not spoken since yesterday when he was in this house.

Slowly, she followed Luis. Even though she was so scared, she had to do it. And it turns out that the man going to play basketball in his yard. Reya sat on the floor watching the man.

Luis secretly glances at Reya who is still watching him quietly. He shouldn't have to wait for him to play basketball, because he's usually always alone. It's weird like there's no other job. Unbeknownst to Reya, Luis grinned while throwing the ball at the woman who is now daydreaming on purpose.

"Argh!" shouted Reya, cringing in pain when the ball hit her forehead.

But instead of helping or approaching to ask questions, the man enters his house despite the presence of Reya who now only smiles disappointed at him. It's okay... That's what she said in his heart. She wouldn't cry, because she thought it was an accident. So, she won't be angry.

Reya stood up to go inside and saw if the man was getting ready to go somewhere. And Reya approaches back close while noticing Luis's face. So handsome, she was amazed by the color of the man's gray eyes.

"Can I come with you?" she muttered quietly, wanting to see if Luis heard it or not.

And apparently, Luis heard his words. Then the man looked Reya in the face. "Can I?" she asked to make sure, and Luis immediately nodded.

"Come on!" Luis said to Reya who is now very happy to hear it.

Then they both got into the car, in Reya's car glancing at Luis who is now focused on driving. "Do you have a lover?" she asked opening the conversation.

Luis just laughed. It didn't take long for them to arrive at the florist, which is now quite crowded with visitors. Luis started looking for a beautiful bouquet, and he chose one of the bouquets that were so beautiful to look at.

"Why don't you buy me too? Because I also want to!" she frowned, without the slightest embarrassment.

Quickly, Luis picks up flowers. After paying, he gave the interest to Reya who immediately laughed, she was happy when he got the interest.

"You wait here! If I don't forget, I'll pick you up." Luis stresses to Reya, who immediately nods to understanding.

Afterward, Luis immediately ran to his car to meet his girlfriend who had just landed at the airport. And finally, his eyes are on a woman who is now holding her suitcase.

"Hi, how are you?" Luis approached his girlfriend who immediately hugged her.

The two of them hugged, then Luis kissed his lover's lips in front of others without feeling embarrassed, they kissed for a long time.

"I miss you so much!" said the woman with a happy feeling.

Luis just laughed. She returned to kiss her lover's lips briefly, then the two arrived at the hotel they had booked since last night via the app.

While in the florist, Reya sits leaning against the wall of the now-closed flower shop. Then she smiled at the flower the man gave him, his gaze was so blank, the conditions were so miserable. She feels cold now, especially when she's just wearing everyday clothes.

The day got darker, and she didn't cry either. She just shut up, sometimes smiled. Tell him he's stupid because it's a fact. In fact, if she was smart she wouldn't stay in the florist and choose to go home without waiting for the man to arrive.

Yes, it should be. But honey, she can't do it. She doesn't know the direction back home, nor does she bring money. Feeling sad, she placed his chin on the knees of both his legs which she bent.

Slowly, the water begins to fall from above, which means that the rain begins to fall to earth. She still smiles, not crying at all, even though she is afraid of rain, but this time she has to fight her fears. Even if he cried, no one would help him in this heavy rain. All prefer to stay at home, warming up while brewing hot tea.

Meanwhile, she sits alone, drenched.

"Are you so stupid Reya?" said the man who is now in front of him, using an umbrella as a means of sheltering from the torrential rain.

The little child stood up, staring at Luis. "You're finally coming!" she shouted with delight. "Thank you, Luis!" she said so sincerely, no lies were seen in the child eyes.

Luis who saw the child reaction could only be silent, he was shocked. The child was supposed to be angry because he forgot, but all the boy did was scream in the rain. "Mom...Dad sees, Luis's not lying!" she said, staring at the sky as he said it.

Luis heard it felt claustrophobic, he didn't know what the little boy was doing, but he felt sick when he saw it. "Come on! we're home!" Luis opened his voice to take the boy home.

Reya shook her head slowly. She sat back on the floor. "I thought you forgot to pick me up, but it wasn't. Thank you!" she explained while hugging Luis's leg.

Slowly, Luis tries to dodge so that the boy does not hug his feet. He hates to see it. "Let's go home, Reya!" he said, he didn't like wasting his time here.

Reya's still silent. Slowly, she wiped his face. "I used to be afraid of rain, but now it's not anymore." she said it honestly, but Luis didn't care. "Now I love rain. Because when it rains, I can pray to God to ask for anything. I trust him because he's been very good with me all along," she said candidly.

Luis's still silent, he's like a fool now, doesn't understand what Reya's talking about. He knew if God was real, then why did the boy explain? It sucks.

"Wait!" she told Luis.
