Chapter 12

A Tale Of Destiny

"Do not Move!" A loud voice echoed.

"Put your hands in the air!" One of the guards  as he walked towards Khloe and Steven with more guards lined up behind him. Their heads were covered by normal helmets as it seemed, with scarfs over their necks and heavy body protections.

"Steven!" Khloe whispered, flicking her eyes from the left over to the right. With her hands up the air, she stood still waiting help.

"Zitizzz!" A tiny sound put the guards into confusion. Swivelling around, not aware of what made the noise that seemed to be familiar to them, a loud blast raised dust from the ground before the guards and suddenly snipe sounds and bullets flying all around. 

Steven slowly walked out with a weapon in his hand, strangely created as its looks seemed like a hand canon. Heavy metals as body and surrounding the tip of the weapon. 

"What the fuck is that?" Khloe asked as she struggled to see through the thick dust and misty environment. 

"It's called a death bringer!" Steven replied with a deep voice that raised the bad ass mode. 

"Here grab this." He threw a gun and a knife over to Khloe. 

"Do not let them leave!" "Fire!" A voice was heard from the depth of the clouded space.

"What is this?" Khloe lifted the gun. "3D print?" She mocked. "Please! I don't do guns." Her grin was accompanied by her gesture of flinging the knives over as she walked slowly towards the dust. Her yells were heard as she went deeper, thin sights of her were seen. Ripping heads off, stabbing, slicing wires and throats. Steven on the other hand had his gun in his arm as there seemed to be no one left in that surrounding to kill.

A guard with a gun slowly walked towards Steven with his gun fully loaded. 

"Dock!" Khloe yelled.

Khloe instantly turned over and without hesitation, threw the two knives towards Steven. He lowered his head and the two knives stabbed the head of the unfortunate replica. His head was ripped off by the force the knives were thrown with and it head went flying all the way to a tree were the knives held it in place.

Khloe walked out of the dusty area, and towards Steven, who was left in awe. "So, about that kill switch, where did you say it was?" She asked.

Light Fades.

"For the fact that I am about to destroy what your so called Fate has made so, does that mean I am able to defy them, cause I'm pretty sure that it is what I am about to do!" Sight catches along with Khloe and Steven, who were before a single tower that craved for the skies as the tip was almost reaching the configured clouds. 

Steven's reply reassured Khloe on her question. "No one defies fate, Khloe!" 

"You want to tell me that only your offsprings can defy what fate has made so, yeah! More like self praise." Khloe replied. The two were seen hiding before bushes. Bushes that were before the tower. 

"How do we get in?" Asked Khloe. Her eyes, found between the branches of a thick plant, as she peeped through, that as well was configured, technologically. 

Steven brought out a map, pencil drawn. It seemed to have been a route into the tower where the kill switch is. "This is a bad idea to make plans but, we will follow the back, there, there are two guards in control of the door, not very weaponed but their guns are lethal."

Scene of actions changes as what was said was being performed. 

"We'll first have to take out the guards and get in, clothed as they were." Two knives flew through the air and caught the guards by surprise, the knives went through their throat and slightly pierced the metallic body of the tower.

Khloe walked out from the spot where she fired from and hastily dumped the guards aside. Scene changes to the two inside the tower, clothed like guards, although what was before them wasn't shown.

"We'll go around, taking the elevator. The kill switch is at the top of this tower." "That is aswell where Marvarittr's mind is. We get to her mind, we get to the kill switch and then what?" Steven whispered to Khloe. The guard cap partly covered his face as the two weren't even so very different.

"We take this bitch out!" Khloe replied instantly.

Chemical tanks, huge pipes, strange lights, weapons, items and screams of human torment were all present in the tower. The air conditioner obviously brought chill to the spines of the both of them. 

"You've been here right?"Asked Khloe. Her mouth was seen moving the cloth and garment she wore over her face.

"Just once, then I got caught." I have been waiting to come here cause of ..." Khloe cut in before he completed his sentence. 

"What is that?" She asked pointing to a podium, where a pillar held a book, wide open. The book was golden and moulded and had just one page to flip. And the page was right in the middle.

"Cause of that!" Steven completed his sentence. I had a glimpse of it and it talked about John! It addressed him as Ozais, although I didn't read enough before I got caught. Steven recapped the time when he tried to read through and got tortured by the guards.

Khloe straightforward, took her steps toward the book without waiting or replying or hearing from Steven! 

"Khloe!" Steven whispered, trying not to raise call for attention. "Shit!" Steven said as he took a round turn, around the podium, in order to give Khloe enough time and also not get noticed. 

After the rise of the demon,

And the fall of the next,

It shall come to pass,

The self acclaimed god of the Pharaohs shall rise,

Fate bound to set free,

The pantheons of Egypt,

For the curiosity of the Celestial,

The line of long forgotten witches shall be found,

Foreseen at the work house of Hades,

Chaos shall occur at the sight of Set,

And in the hands of the Celestial,

Thus, acclaimed god shall be slain,

Hades shall rise, along side thee,

And the world will perish,

By the sight of the God of Death.

Darkness Rising, follows,

As thee, undefeated, arises.

Khloe got so caught up in the paper as she seemed to have been drowned in confusion and curiosity. "This is a prophecy!" "This is the prophecy!" Khloe said to herself before hastily tearing the page out. The same writing reflected on the other pages of the book.

"Let's go! Now!" Khloe whispered after starring daggers in signal towards Steven.

Unfortunately for then, the same lady that Khloe saw earlier was at a corner watching as their plan played off. Khloe and Steven walked towards the elevator that was at the left corner of the extra large room. Khloe took a sight with the sides of her eyes and saw the same lady as she followed them. Their both eyes met and Khloe seemed to have realised. 

"Walk in circles!" She whispered to the hearing of Steven.

He did as she said and the lady still had her eyes on them, walking behind them. "Fuck!" Khloe whispered as soon as she figured out they had been caught. "Take this." Khloe slipped the paper into Steven's pocket as she slowly slipped out a knife.

"We have eyes on us!" "Get ready!" Khloe whispered as they reached the half part of the circumferential area of the room. At the half part, there was a door, leading out of the room and two guards by the sides of the door. 

"Kill!" Khloe whispered. The first attack came from her as he stabbed the two bots by the door in the head with the knife she held, which passed through the head of the first closest to her and emitted from the other side of the head of the one farthest from her.

The next shot alarmed all others as well as the lady who had been following the two. 

The lady's eye colour changed to a transparent vision, led by a smirk. This was followed by her skin burning through and giving up the figure. Khloe stared in awe as well as Steven, partly unaware.

A sky blue light illuminated from the pores of her skin as she yelled in great pain. The two had their eyes squinted and their arm over it. Suddenly, what seemed to be the life force of all others standing around got withdrawn, slowly spawning a figure. It was unlike anything they had seen before. Her head was clothed in a flat tip metallic structure, possessing the colour, blue. The rest of her both slowly formed together and she was unusual. An X strap was placed over her chest and under a crystal which rested on her chest. The rest of her upper figure was left open and from her waist, the blue colour was more significant as it turned out to be, she had no legs, just a material that took the shape of legs and a gown.

"The future of man kind lies in my hands..." She spoke up after her transformation facing opposite to the two, with a sharp toxic sided glare at her palms.

"The future you humans crave for..., Technology.." She turned over as some item by the side of her ear, under her metallic structured head, followed.

"So why do you choose to stop it, why do you choose to stop what has been made so?" Her voice was feminine bold, toxic and heart empty. 

"This is the arrival of a creation you have not experienced, your earthlings and scientist will crave to work with me, for fitting every thing they love, everything they have." 

"Your destiny!" She added as a pair of legs formed beneath the gown like material." "You were to die, days ago!" Her brows squinted in confusion as she walked towards Khloe and past her. 

"Tell me, how do you still live?" She asked, staring unusually at Khloe's face, all from her eyes to her lips. 

"I live, because my life isn't configured to do as I was told." Khloe replied with a wide smile. "I heard a tale about you," "a tale of destiny," "yours is bound to inexistence." She added. 

"Khloe!" Whispered Steven.

Khloe's reply got instantly backed up by an eye trick which she made with Steven. Her eyes pointing towards the elevator with the intention to run speedily towards it, escaping Marvaritte. The two ran towards the elevator leading to the kill switch. As soon as Steven got in, Khloe instantly pressed a lock button and sent him up.

"Noo!" Steven yelled. His yell got accompanied by Marvaritte's.

Faced up at the speedily moving elevator, Khloe whispered "Do it for John!" and she turned over to Maravaritte with hope to end what had been made so.
