4) Similarity between Daisy and Minerva.

Lucas's strange yet friendly behaviour was very unexpected for Daisy. Helen murmured near Daisy's ear, "What was it? Oh my God, I cannot believe the cold, angry Lucas came to introduce himself to you. I am sure it is love at first sight. He has even given you a compliment. You are so lucky, Daisy." 

Rolling her eyes, Daisy replied, "Shut up, Helen. I don't think that. May be, it was just a friendly gesture. Ignore it." Helen went on babbling and Daisy ignored every word of Helen silently. Though Daisy herself was stunned about that matter but she was not ready to believe Helen's words also.

At that moment, Daisy saw a familiar figure coming towards her direction in a black shirt and faded blue jeans. It was none other than Nicolas  He was casually talking with the other boys of his group. But, Nicolas's charming aura was reflecting brightly, differentiating him from others. He was shinning like a bright diamond among the crowd. Daisy's eyes were fixed on his handsome stature. Even his walking style was elegant and steady, indicating his royalty. Daisy decided to introduce herself forgetting Helen's words. Nicolas was portraying exactly the image of the boy with whom she used to chat for hours everyday. The moment Daisy was about to call Nicolas, she could hear a thin voice of a girl from behind.

 The girl yelled, "Nick, wait for me. I was searching everywhere for you, baby. Where were you?" Daisy instantly looked at her direction and found a tall slim fair girl with her blackish hair and brown eyes, started running towards Nicolas, in her high heels. Daisy stepped back when she saw that the girl hugged Nicolas encircling her arms around his Neck. Nicolas casually removed her arms and murmured something in his low voice which Daisy couldn't hear but it was clear that they were very close to each other. Daisy felt like she was betrayed and cheated by Nicolas as he used to talk with her in flirtatious tone as if he felt something for her. 

Tugging the sleeve of Helen's top, Daisy whispered near her ears, " Who is the girl? Nicolas' girlfriend?"

 Helen replied in her low tone, "No no. She is Nick's childhood family friend Ruth. She behaves like girlfriend but Nicolas hasn't declared about her anything still now. So it is not clear and Nick has plenty of girlfriends also. But everybody assumes that they can be couple in future."

 Daisy saw them leaving the corridor together. Daisy noticed Nick's beautiful purple eyes met her eyes for just few seconds then, diverting his gaze Nicolas left with Ruth.

Daisy sighed in despair. Rest of the day, Daisy spent in her classes and met with plenty of new people. Though every student of the college was welcoming but became close to Helen within few hours. Helen was a pretty talkative girl and she also liked Daisy very much, the moment she met her. So, it was kind of fated that they were going to be best friends. After college, Daisy wished goodbye to Helen, Joey and Blake and then started waiting for her father near the entrance of the college. As it was the first day of her college, Henry promised Daisy to pick her up. Students started leaving the college one by one. Daisy was silently observing the students around her and scrolling her phone. Suddenly, she saw a blue Dodge Tomahawk, stood on the other side of the road and Nicolas was leaning against it, casually. Feeling her gaze on himself Nicolas immediately looked at Daisy who was still staring at him and his lips curled up in a charming smile. The moment their eyes met, Daisy looked away but Nicolas couldn't, he stared at her side face and immediately felt an extreme urge of touching her delicate fair cheek and cherry lips. It was for the first time Nicolas was feeling an emotions in sight him, which was strange and extremely rare for him. He had already seen many girls any every girl loved to throw themselves on him but he never felt so attracted towards any girl.

Nicolas started walking towards Daisy who was looking at her phone. Though it was very normal for Nicolas to talk with girls but Daisy was somehow different. He felt a strange excitement in his heart while walking towards her direction. 

Within few seconds, Nicolas reached to Daisy. Running his fingers through his hair, Nicolas said in his croaked voice, "Hi, It is Nicolas. And you?? What is your name?" 

Daisy startled hearing the sudden familiar voice exactly next her. Looking up at Nicolas, Daisy replied, "Hello, I am Daisy Miller." Daisy couldn't reply anything anymore as seeing Nicolas so close to her, she immediately started blushing. For hiding her red cheeks, she immediately looked down.

On the other side,  Nicolas was staring at Daisy, flawless skin. Daisy was looking very beautiful in her black and red top and torn jeans. She was looking like a delicate fragile doll. Her fair skin tone was glowing reddish when Daisy blushed seeing him so near to him. Nicolas couldn't help but chuckled loudly. Daisy was really unique, might be the first giro who was trying to ignore her. 

Hearing her brief expressionless answer, Nicolas replied, "Where do you live, Daisy? Let me give you-" Before he could finish, a Audi stopped in front of her. 

Daisy looked up at Nicolas and with a bright smile replied, "I live in Mackenzie Villa. My Dad is here. See you later." 

Nicolas nodded his head positively and replied with a  flirtatious tone, winking at her, "I will wait to see you again, Miss Daisy. Bye." Daisy's cheeks turned into deep red and immediately. Daisy turned her head for two more times to look at Nicolas before leaving.

When Nicolas saw Daisy's car vanished from his eyesight, he returned back to reality. Daisy's voice sounded very familiar, he  was trying hard to recall where he had heard that voice whole day since the morning. But, at that moment suddenly he realized, Daisy's voice sounded exactly like Minerva. She also at first used to talk like Daisy in a shy manner.

 The thought of Minerva made him little disappointed, as for the last three days, she didn't come online. Nicolas didn't know why he felt that Daisy and Minerva had some connection though he knew it very well that it was kind of impossible as they two were totally different persons from different places. He wanted to give Daisy a ride to her home but she already left so Nicolas also started his bike and headed to his destination.
