He stood against the light. His body was tall and slim, and his face looked cold but delicate.

Looking up from a low angle, she found him increasingly oppressive and strong.

"Mr. Sheng..." Bai Xixi hurried to stand up, but her legs were stiff and cramped...

"Ah!" She fell to the floor.

Sheng Shinian frowned. He reached his arm out automatically, grabbed her waist, and held her to himself.

His eyes darkened when he felt the coldness from her body.

"What are you doing here?"

Bai Xixi hadn't expected to fall into his arms, and she felt surprised and grateful.

"Thanks. I came here to apologize to you. I am sorry about last night."

Actually, last night she regretted it as soon as she left the room.

It was her who had gone to him and agreed to be his woman for half a year, and yet she turned out to be so willful.

Sheng Shinian suddenly stopped leaving and turned around. He looked at her red face and somehow the anxiety he had felt since last night was soothed.

The rising tone at the end made his question a little flirty.

Bai Xixi felt her heart tighten and shook her head, blushing.

But Sheng Shinian seemed too nonchalant to notice it.

He glanced at Bai Xixi and said emotionlessly, "Leave after you have gotten some sleep."

He walked out after finishing his words. His figure looked tall and cold, and his steps were steady.

Maybe because she was emotional or maybe out of guilt over last night, Bai Xixi suddenly said to his back, "Mr. Sheng, I will be well prepared tonight."

Sheng Shinian had just reached the door, and his gait became stiff for a moment before becoming natural again.

"I will be satisfied as long as you stop crying."

He said those emotionless words and walked out of the door as if in dazzling light.

Bai Xixi blushed and wanted to bury herself in a hole.

She didn't purposefully cry.

After feeling embarrassed for a while, Bai Xixi fell asleep.

She didn't know how long she had been asleep when she heard some noise in the room.

She woke up quickly in alarm because it was Sheng Shinian's room. Then she left the bed and walked out.

Su Nan was organizing a few bags. When he saw Bai Xixi, he greeted her politely.

"Miss Bai, you have woken up. The President asked me to prepare these for you. You can try them on. Please let me know if they don't fit so I can change them for you."

It turned out that it was Secretary Su. Bai Xixi nodded politely and walked up to him.

A few exquisite bags were on the table. Inside them were clothes, pants, shoes, and even underwear from luxury brands.

Bai Xixi blushed because it was the first time someone had bought her underwear.

She had a rough look at the size of the clothes and said, "They all fit. Thank you, Secretary Su."

"You are welcome. I will go back to work then." Su Nan left politely.

Bai Xixi was left alone in the spacious room.

Looking at the bags, she somehow felt guilty.

Sheng Shinian had asked his secretary to prepare these clothes for her, despite her being so reluctant last night. It seemed that he was not as nonchalant as rumored.

Bai Xixi felt helpless and pursed her lips together. She had to tell the driver a new address.

The only thing she could hope for was that Sheng Zixiao would agree to her suggestion and pretend to date her for half a year.

Otherwise, it would be difficult for her to face both Sheng Shinian and Grandpa Sheng.

After half an hour, the taxi stopped at the gate of Sheng family's mansion.
