am2_1 Chapter 5 Still So Shy?

His cold tone rang in Bai Xixi's ears, interrupting her thoughts.

She snapped back from her thoughts and looked at his unusually beautiful yet cold face. Her hands turned into fists.

She did not want to go. Besides, this was the company's entrance. What if someone saw her getting into his car?

"Mr. Sheng, um... I..."

"Why? You were so diligent and proactive about seeing Sheng Zixiao, and yet you avoid me. Bai Xixi, have you forgotten who you belong to?"

Sheng Shinian's face was stern and there was a spark of obvious anger in his eyes.

He had just told her last night that he did not want her to come into contact with other men, and look at what she had done. She had come to the company bright and early in the morning to wait for Sheng Zixiao diligently. Was she not taking his words seriously?

As soon as the man's words came out, Bai Xixi's thin body froze.

How could he talk about this in public? What if someone heard him!

Fearing that he would say something shocking again, she looked around guiltily and quickly ran to his car after ensuring that no one was watching.

Sheng Shinian's thin, cool lips curled slightly. He asked her back in an ambiguous tone that was full of hints of danger, "Really?"

Bai Xixi was just about to nod when the man's deep gaze swept across her and slowly fell to her hand. He asked, "What about this breakfast?"

Bai Xixi's fists tightened. He had specifically warned her last night that she should not get in contact with a man. Now, just seeing her here, his dangerous aura was suppressing her to death.

She did not dare to think about it and quickly explained while panicking, "I didn't have breakfast, I bought this for myself."

Sheng Shinian stared at her with an unpredictable look. No one could see his true emotions in his deep gaze.

Bai Xixi stared back at him. She did not know whether he believed her or not. Her little hands started shaking from the guilty. She tried to explain, "This store is really good. I always bought from them when I was in secondary school and all the way until I went to college. It has become a habit."

"Mr. Sheng, would you also like to try it? "

After Bai Xixi finished speaking, she quickly lowered her head and avoided his gaze. She opened the lunch box and placed the exquisite cake in front of him.

She had a sincere attitude and her movements were full of respect.

Sheng Shinian looked at her trying to please him and the anger in his chest somehow dissipated a little.

She blushed and her heartbeat quickened. She lifted her hand and pushed him away.

"Mr. Sheng, this is inconvenient, and the cake could easily stain your clothes."

Bai Xixi was about to break away from the man's embrace. However, when her body had just started moving, she heard footsteps from outside. "Thud..."

"Ninth Uncle, is your car... broken?" The man outside the car did not finish his question as his voice came to a halt.

His Ninth Uncle, who was always known for abstaining from lust, was in the car holding a woman in his arms!

He asked, "You care about him so much?"

The man's husky voice was a little cold.

Bai Xixi froze for a second and quickly shook her head to explain, "No, I don't like him. We've only been engaged for half a month."

Sheng Shinian studied her for a good five seconds with a deep gaze. Then, his thin lips opened and he said coldly, "That'd better be that case. Your heart must be clean in order to be my woman."
