Skylar Kisses Ekai

Ekai Enzo Enrique crept out of the car with a smirk and a proud  smile which had put a charismatic aura around him, sure enough the man had already had a reputation of being the most desirable bachelor. 

The lady reporter outside the enormous building with huge glass windows chipped loudly in the mic announcing the arrival of the renowned businessman. Ekai pulled his collars to settle down the maroon coat which contrasted perfectly with his sleek black hair.

The triple E boss let out a soft chuckle inwardly upon the protocol and acceptance of the limelight he got from the people, who were at the party hosted by some other powerful rich CEO. 

Whereas the obedient air scattered around his silhouette which oozed a dangerous aura, making Ekai seem unapproachable with his neatly trimmed beard and moustaches. The cameras clicked and the voice of shutters resonated in the open air while the flash reflected from the glass windows of the building.

"Wish you a great night, Mr Enrique."

A reporter arrived in the front pushing every other restless soul aside and shoved the microphone in front of Ekai, the eligible CEO lifted his eyes and the sharp soul penetrating stare landed on the reporter's face. 

Although the man tried to play a compose and calm trick which nearly hid his shivering, but Ekai Enzo could sense the fear reeking from his silhouette. But perhaps the reporter had to perform his task too along with being at the risk of losing his life, thus he dared to ask the most annoying question.

"Are you and Miss Skylar announcing your marriage?"

The reporter had stepped on Ekai's nerve with the question while he cursed his manager for setting him up for the particular task. Ekai averted his eyes to cast a look at him and without saying a single word he moved forward totally neglecting the reporter. 

The man must have felt himself relieved after witnessing Ekai's 'no response' reply because it indicated that he was saved eventually. The eligible CEO walked inside the hall wearing an austere expression, snagging everyone's attention that flickering stares roamed over his dashing silhouette. 

Ekai must have known about how popular he was among all the rich people and how badly every one of them wanted their daughters to be his bride. But Skylar's father took the bite of the cake first and she became Ekai's fiance.

But hereby I ask you if he already had a fiance then was he chasing Aysel Saat? And if Skylar was his bride to be then was she looking for Luca Calhoun Castello?

Was it a big game behind the scenes? 

The host of the party approached him with a long stem wine glass in his hand while his bulging tummy bounced as he walked over Ekai on the entrance. Ekai's expressions did not change nor did his body language, which put everyone into a panicked state knowing that the daredevil had arrived. 

The fat old man greeted Ekai Enzo with his last name by which he was known all over the world, the grumpy tycoon just responded with a 'mhm' and walked to the other side.

He was clad in a maroon suit contrasted with black shirt without a tie which made him prominent in the vast hall among most white, black and grey suits. Ekai Enzo approached the table and poured red wine for himself as no one served him knowing that he would not take any kind of drink or eatables from anyone.

The hall began to chatter once again while Ekai's sharp eyes skimmed through the hall as if he was finding someone. 

'Let's see where you are, Skylar.'

He mumbled to himself and began to head towards the staircase when he did not find her in the hall.

With every single step taken forward the ground trembling under his feet as he ascended the staircase and turned towards his right arcade. It was the very moment when he saw Skylar approaching him with a confident gait and wearing a forced smile.

Well, perhaps only he was able to see through that beaming face. Were they close?

Ekai sipped on the wine and glanced at her with amusing expressions as he spoke to her while walking.

"My dear, Skylar."

His voice had utter sweetness making everyone suspect that he might have transformed into some other person the way he addressed that woman.

But don't you think it could be because she was his fiance?

"How are you?"

Ekai threw next question as soon as Skylar halted in front of him and placed one hand on his forearm, which made him chuckle softly as if he had acknowledged the gesture which was a secret between them.

"I'm fine, my love. What took you so long, I was so bored without you."

Skylar replied to him with the same pitched tone and in a loving manner, while she slipped both hands on his collars to place her hands as if they both were displaying an affectionate show.

But to whom? Was there anyone? Or perhaps among the duo both of them were two timers?

Skylar lifted herself up on toes, despite the fact that she was wearing heels and tucked herself with his chest and placed a gentle yet brief peck on Ekai's lips. Whereas the man closed his eyes and enjoyed her breath over his face and the beating of hearts became audible in his ears.

Meanwhile at the end of the arcade just a few inches above the floor and behind the wall the camera shutter closed after capturing the scene. Oh, yeah! It was going to be a big news of the Enrique Corp CEO and Miss Skylar having an intimate relationship in the arcade!

The man snapped open his eyes and skimmed keenly through the corner of the wall where the paparazzi were hiding.

"They are gone."

Ekai whispered to her in a hushed tone yet his voice sounded serious this time. Whereas his breath brushed Skylar's painted lips which could have aroused any woman instantly.
