Author: Faith Odulesi"How long have you known Justine?" I began, staring directly into her orbs.
"Why is that an important question?" She furrowed her eyebrows, letting go of the pillow she had held to her chest.
"Just answer me." I ignored her annoyance and continued with my statement.
"It's been over a year." She reluctantly provided, rolling her eyes at me. She must have found my question irrelevant but I was headed to a destination.
"A year is a long time to know a person, I'm certain that deep down, you have a feeling he has done nothing wrong but that strong part of you chooses to believe he has only done the wrong thing." I said to her. She put her lips in a pout.
"You should not let terrible friends influence you. Justine is a really hot guy," I paused to swallow the lump that had grown in my throat. "And basically every girl wants him. You know better than everyone that you are really lucky. Who knows how many of your friends want your relationship to end because they are jealous of you?" Caramel was blind to these sort of things. Anyone who had him to claim and thought they wanted to lose that bond, was definitely crazy.
"I know it sounds crazy but whoever that girl was, you shouldn't blame her for wanting a guy as priceless as the one you have. If you let him go, it's only going to be a minute before ten thousand girls try their best to claim him." I warned, crossing my legs in my seated position. "Don't be surprised when you hear that one of your spy friends, is dating him. You would only have yourself to blame for it."
"I know you are right Ally." She groaned. "I just felt so crazy. I love him so much and I really cannot do without him but you don't expect me to find a video that exclusive and just let it slip." She confessed, drawing her knees to her chest.
"I just began to feel insecure. I realized how much attention people paid to him whenever we went out. It made me understand that he was someone everyone would love to have, and maybe he took advantage of it." She confirmed my exact suspicions.
"Oh come on Caramel. You forgot that of these multiple citizens, he chose you." I smiled at her, keeping my hand on her shoulder. "Don't lose that over nothing."
"You are amazing, Ally, and I love you." She pulled me in for a tight hug.
"Okay, too much squeezing." I groaned and pushed her away, disconnecting the affectionate embrace.
She pulled her phone from behind her pillow and began operating on it. "I'll call him right now just to know how he is doing."
"You don't have to. He is waiting downstairs." I informed her.
-"wait, what?!" She widened her eyes in disbelief.
I stood from her bed so I could make my exit from the room. "Well, I'm surprised you did not even bother with questioning my knowledge of the incident. I saw him in school and he had explained it all to me. We drove here together."
"Fuck, I'm going now." Her face was brightened and she jumped out of bed like her life depended on it.
"Yeah, go do gross couple stuff." I spoke like I would be unaffected if she acted like Justine's wife in my presence.
"Thank you so much Ally, you are the best." She dashed out of her bedroom before I could and poked her head in one more time, "but don't tell Becca I said that." She warned.
I could not help but laugh maniacal at her words. When she was out. I scanned the room with my eyes remembering how I'd met them both the last time.
I took my exit and made it straight to my room.

The rain had begun to reduce its harsh pour on earth. The bedroom was still pretty much empty and I felt lonely after realizing that Justine was done needing my help. With a frustrated sigh, I thought it would be great if I contacted someone who was actually my boyfriend and kept him off my head. I hated that he was all I could think about. I wished I could find a permanent solution to get rid of him.
It was not long after I had dialed Sam that he picked up.
"Hey my love." He called in his rugged voice. I had to refrain from rolling my eyes at him.
"Hi babe." I called back pretentiously.
"You know this weather just got me thinking about you so bad, I was literally about to call you." He said. I was about to respond when a knock came on my bedroom door.
I expected no one except Becca to be at the door but she would not knock since we shared a bedroom. "Hold on a second" I told Sam and yelled a little, "come in."
Justine walked in and I could swear that he was intentionally daring my self control.
"I'll call you back." I announced to Sam and hung up before he had a chance to respond.
"I'm sorry if I'm messing anything up, I just wanted to acknowledge your effort and say a great thank you." Justine walked in, closing the door behind him and sitting on my bed.
"Pfft," I rolled my eyes, "it's fine really." I was getting intense sitting only inches away from him and alone in the bedroom.
"Thank you Ally, for real." He held my hands in his and my heart began to pound a lot faster than should be considered normal.
I found myself unable to take my eyes off his lips. I had not realized this until I noticed that he was not speaking. I shot my eyes at him and he stared curiously at me.
Before I could control what was happening, his lips were only inches from mine. He was going to kiss me, I knew it. I closed my eyes in expectation and he did not disappoint me. He parted my lips with his and slowly sucked on my upper lip.
It tasted better than I had imagined it. Nothing like I had ever felt before. I was relaxing in the kiss when suddenly the door swung open without warning.
"Ally I-" Becca did not get to finish her statement as she gasped. Justine and I pulled apart in shock and my eyes widened when I met my sister's gaze.

Justine seemed like he had been carried away when he said the words and so shook his head in disbelief, yelling my name after me. "Ally, wait!" He called. I did not wait, nor did I stop running. I began to cry automatically. I should have known there would be negative consequences for being with him. I was waiting for it, not in this form but I had expected it t

It was almost six in the evening. Sam and I were back from the hospital. I had made sure he went through the proper examination and that his ailment was diagnosed before we came back to his condo. Thankfully, he was not stuck in a situation so worse that he was unable to return to his base. Upon my arrival at his place and seeing him so inactive, I had expected him to be hospitalized but he took me by surprise, still standing tall to his feet, a lot more strengthened than previously. The doctor had administered some pills that would ease his pain and commit him to healing as soon as he could keep up with dedication. I was trying my best not to be judgemental about his situation but he looked like the kind of person that did not believe in pills. I was almost certain he would stop taking them as soon as he thought he felt better, not when the doctor had ordered.

BeccaI picked a book from my school bag, ready to dive into the knowledge that came with school. I picked my phone up to set it to vibrate so there would be no distractions from people while I chose to study. Whilst taking the action, a surprising phone call came in, causing me to furrow my eyebrows suspiciously. It was from Sam, my sister's previous boyfriend."What's up?" I rhetorically directed before putting the phone up to my ear and answering it."Becca?" He called in a choking voice. That instantly got me to feel worried."Sam? Is everything okay?" I needed to know, crossing my leg over the other and bracing myself for some bad news as even from the sound of h

"Call us when you need anything." My mother made sure to warn as soon as I was at the dorm once more. I rolled my eyes for the umpteenth time but nodded in understanding."Sure mom, I pretty much heard you the first one hundred times." I teased, placing my bag filled with healthy food items my mother had forced me to take with me."You have to call me a lot more often so I can keep updating, promise me that." She pleaded with me."I assure you I will try my best." I said, even being aware I was not willing to constantly phone her and keep her updated on my life."Bye dear." My mother waved me off and I watched her leave down the hall before raising my head to the hall

"What?" Becca was the first to break the silence in the room. I noticed the smug look on Caramel's face as she shut her eyes tight. She was trying her best to contain her emotions, that was evident."What do you mean you are pregnant? My mother added in a faint voice.I swallowed, they had still been unable to decide on how to react to the words I had told them."It's true." I stood to my feet, sighing on the words, "the doctor said that today while I was at the hospital.""Wow," Caramel stood up after me, "that means you two were already involved in each other even before I identified as bisexual?" She felt hurt.

Ally"Wait!" Justine continued to call behind me. I had no particular destination I was headed but I went straight for it. For some reason, it felt safer to leave the premises to go ahead and think about it.Justine increased his pace and eventually managed to catch up with me. "Ally." He grabbed my arm from behind.I spun around to meet his gaze. I wanted to know what he had to say to this matter but instead of talking, he faced me in the same manner. It was as if he was expecting the same from me."I can't have a child now. My life is ruined." I began to sob.He held me at arms length. "Why? What e

"Here we are." I inserted the key into the door hole and turned twice. Justine stood behind me with the men we had met downstairs. They had been responsible for transporting my bed and he had willingly joined to help.
