The Mismatched Half

Anya is a twenty three year old woman who was pushed into an arranged marriage when she was fresh out of college. Being an Indian, all that her parents wanted for their daughter was her to be happily married and fall in love with a man that they had chosen for her. Anya thought her parents knew what was best her as they have all through these years and gets married. Little did she know that fate had other plans. Tumultous events leave her no choice but to flee to another country where she lives a happy life until she meets Ronan. Ronan looks exactly like her ex husband and she's faced with a difficult situation when she comes to know that he is infact her boss.The story then narrates what happens between them and whether Anya is able to forget her traumatic past. "Morning, Moonlight." Ronan's voice sweeped gently through her ears waking her up. He was busy pushing the curtains to the sides when she peaked through her eyelids. Anya squeezed her eyes shut as the light was too strong for her sleepy eyes to adjust. "Moonlight?" A yawn escaped her lips as she tried to straighten up. "I bet you haven't heard that before!" He said excited jumping onto the bed and suddenly insecurities that she wasn't even aware of presented themself before her making her squirm in the bed. She had just woken up and there were high chances of her hair looking like a forest which seemed like the least of her worries when she thought about her bad breath and crusty eyes. She couldn't help but wonder how cleaned and fresh he looked with his wet hair. She tried her best to stay at a distance from him as she slowly reached for her eyes to clean the crust

Moments later the truck finally stopped in front of a huge metal gate. Anya leaned outside the window to take a good look at what stood behind the gate but it was locked without any space in between the bars. She sighed as she looked at Ronan and raised her brows."Don't be a lazy bummer. Go on. Get outside." He said with a smirk as he loosened his seatbelt and got out the car. Anya rolled her eyes at him as she stepped out. He definitely seemed to enjoy pulling her legs.
