I could hear the leaves crushing under Joshua's large paws as he sprinted. We were out of time and yet both of us was determined to get to Draven, we weren't going to give up. He was a wolf so just maybe he could hang on a little longer than the average person. My eyes welled up with tears, my parents weren't dead, it wasn't possible. They would never take their own lives, it was a trick.
